2025 pottery recap. Thankful for ❤️

🎉2025🎉 It was a BUSY year!

🥍Coached JV & Youth Lacrosse
🏺Spent a ton of time at pottery. Helped with summer camp & a few workshops. Beyond thankful for my pottery community.
📗2nd book was released!!
💻Wrote a 3 part blog for my publishing company.
🗣️Spoke at my first conference (GSCA)
✏️Attended Innovative Schools Summit
❤️Loved on my 6th graders
🚘Went home to NJ for the first time in 2.5 years & my fam came here a few times.
🧑‍🧑‍🧒Spent lots of time with my grandparents
🏷️Participated in my first vendor fair - Catoberfest. Then sold pottery at the Bowen Center’s Fall Market & Suwanee Clayworks Holiday Market.
👚Designed & sold some clothes.
👯‍♀️Lots of dress up day memories with the crew.
🛣️Visited my SC friends & also met up with them in Clayton.
🌧️Danced in the rain & soaked up the little moments in life.
😽Lots of cat cuddles.

I think that’s all 😴 Now back to napping the rest of break.

Day 4 of - Innovative Counseling Strategies Conference.

Keynote 1: Standing Tall Through It All with Steve Bollar. 12/10. Fabulous speaker. I think I may have seen him before.

Keynote 2: Best Day Ever: The Art & Science of Creating Unforgettable Learning Experiences with Steve Spangler. Another 12/10. Just WOW. I could’ve listened to him all day.

This conference was truly phenomenal and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to go.

Day 3 of - Innovative Counseling Strategies Conference

Keynote 1: Lead from Where You Are with Dr. Joe Sanfelippo. I give it a 12/10. Absolutely phenomenal.

Keynote 2: When Parents Bully the School with Jodee Blanco. I give it a 9/10. Good, useful strategies.

Keynote 3: Beyond Vague Advice: A Practical Skill Set for Managing Stress, Reducing Burnout, and Building Resilience with Brad Chapin. I’d say 9/10. Great speaker, but not enough time to dive into the strategies.

Keynote 4: Personal Climate and Culture… It’s Up to You with . 12/10. PHENOMENAL. Inspiring, funny, uplifting. So good I switched my 5th session to his second session.

Keynote 5: Being the Best You Can Be with . 12/10. Equally as amazing as his prior session. So so good.

Keynote 6: Seen, Heard, and Valued. Creating a Safe and Supporting Environment for Neurodiverse Students with David Flink. 11/10. Really good.

This week has been SO amazing and exhausting. I came back to the room after session #6 and took the longest nap. Not ready for tomorrow to be the end, but I’m leaving so inspired, motivated, and ready to start the year.
