Hi All,
Hope everyone is safe. If your admission deadlines are approaching and can’t take the test due to COVID-19 situation, then go through the below info:
“IELTS Indicator is an online test that can be taken from the comfort and safety of your home. The test includes four skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and you will receive an indicative score for each. Your performance will be marked by IELTS examiners and you will receive your result within seven days.
The Academic test is available for a limited time while IELTS testing is currently suspended due to COVID-19. Educational providers can use IELTS Indicator to help them gauge the English language ability of future students while IELTS testing is suspended.
As IELTS Indicator provides an indicative score only, it is not accepted by all organisations. Before you book, be sure to check with your university or educational institution. IELTS Indicator is an Academic test only and has not been developed for immigration purposes.”
Please comment your questions. Happy to help😌

A Great Tip to deal with FALSE and NOT GIVEN Questions:
Follow the following step:
Take the practice reading test and Answer them within the time, Check for correct answers.
Mark the wrong answers and try to do a small analysis why a particular answer is False or Not Given.
(Analysis - Read the passage again and try to check why a particular answer is False or Not Given. Sometime it's a bit tricky but reading it twice will rectify your mistakes. Do this for at least 4 or 5 passages and figure out the major reason for False and Not Given.)
Common Sense matters a lot and don't overthink for the answers. Keep it simple and score more.

Vocabulary : in maps and plans (Listening)
One way this type of question can go wrong is that you may be confused by some direction language – these are the words that very often give you the answer. Typical words to pay attention to include:
in front of
next to
opposite
beside
behind
to the left of
in between
Sometimes though you also need to be able to recognise the meaning of language such as:
clockwise/anti-clockwise
a little beyond
just past
before you get to
A special case is when you see a compass (North, East, South, West) on the diagram: in this case you can expect to hear directions in the form of compass points:
a little to the north
In the south west corner
South-west , South-east , north-east, north-west ,,

Many aspirants of IELTS are facing the problems with MCQ type of questions in Listening Module.
Note Taking : The important aspect of IELTS Listening particularly MCQ type of questions
All of us are really annoyed, confused ,fed up with Note taking while listening the sections in IELTS MCQ's. I feel its very easy (In fact earlier I was annoyed with note taking strategy for Listening.)..the only remedy for Annoying is : "PRACTICE ".
Why Note taking : our task is to listen and answer the questions. For MCQ's we need to read the question and options too.... and at the same time we need to understand the question, options and to listen the module... its hectic process...
Steps :
1. Try to read all the questions as per your Instructions given by the speaker.
2. Understand and simplify the Question and Pick the Keywords and try to remember them...
3. Don't try to understand the options.. just glance at them If you have time.
4.Now follow the speaker and try to spot the info regarding the keywords which you picked while reading the questions.
5.Now write everything regarding the keyword on question paper. (no extra papers are provided for note taking).
6.Now the question is how long do we need to write notes for a question based on Keyword. Well the answer is refer the 2nd Step... your understanding of question will tell you where to stop...
7. Map the answers from notes.. you can utilize the 10 mins given for transferring answers to the answer sheet.(3-5 mins is enough to transfer the answers, else you utilize for mapping the answers from Notes)
Not at all a easy process for many people.... But Practice definitely leads to proficiency in Note taking....
All the best.....
