We are happy to share that Dr. Luca Donner along with Dr. Toufic Haidamous have been published in the AMPS PROCEEDINGS SERIES 43 v.2 (2026) pertaining the Conference "Research & Teaching Exploring Academia – From Practice to Publishing" held in Prague last June. It has been a great honor to be part of such inspiring panel along with amazing AUE colleagues at 5th future innovation summit. Our talk was about the relationship between education and technology as well as the potential of AI in Academia.

EXHIBITION & PUBLICATION. We are happy to share that our project “Monitoring and Educational Centre of a large-scale offshore wind farm” in Maldo-ri (South Korea) has been displayed at "Architecture and Places" Exhibition from July 28th to July 30th at the University of Camerino (Italy). Exhibition catalogue is published by Di Baio Editore.

We are happy to share that Dr. Luca Donner presented the final outcomes of the ongoing research “Cultural Sustainability in Dubai Higher Education. Reflections on Didactic Innovations” by Dr. Toufic Haidamous and himself at the AMPS Research's Prague Research & Teaching Conference earlier this month.

PUBLICATION. Our theory-based project "HERITAGUTOPIA" has been published in "Sikka Art & Design Festival 2024" book by Dubai Culture.

LECTURE. Happy to contribute to the discussion about "Inequalities. Design for a better life" by delivering our lecture "Utopian Paradigms against inequalities" on February 12th at Italian Cultural Institute Abu Dhabi. Join us at 6.30 pm to celebrate the Italian Design Day 2025.

This year, the 9th Edition of Italian Design Day (IDD) celebrates the transformative power of design with the theme: “𝐈𝐧𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞.” The initiative aligns with the upcoming Universal Exhibition at the Triennale di Milano, titled “Inequalities: How to Mend the Fractures of Humanity,” which aims to explore how design can foster inclusivity, sustainability, and social well-being.

Founder of Farm Cultural Park in Favara, Sicily, Bartoli will deliver a remote presentation on “Farm Cultural Park: A Platform for Change,” sharing how his community project has creatively transformed urban spaces through design and culture.
