That’s a wrap on today. I can’t decide which is more beautiful the midnight blue of the sky or the sea?

I hopped off the plane in Athens in the early evening, tired but determined to follow my first travel rule:

No matter how exhausted you are, stay awake until bedtime in the time zone you’ve landed in. ✈️

So I dropped my bags, headed out for dinner at the old Taverna Psarra in Plaka (which was excellent), and then wandered the streets of Plaka as Athens settled into the evening.

And it worked. A great night’s sleep later, I was ready to explore.

This morning found me wandering through Anafiotika, one of those little corners of Athens that feels almost like a village tucked into the city, and brunch .gr . Along the way, I kept stopping for the things I love most about Athens, the color, the street art, the unexpected little details around every corner.

Just walking, eating, looking around, and letting Athens unfold.

Sometimes that’s the best way to arrive somewhere. 🇬🇷

Photos, videos, and reels can capture some of the magic but it’s never the same as being there. Hearing the Aegean in the background. Waking up to the impossible blue every day. Making friends from different parts of the country and world. Eating incredible farm to table food. Having breakthroughs you never thought possible and mostly reconnecting to your joy. Retreat travel is not regular travel. It’s being surrounded and supported in a way that allows you to arrive and instantly drop into the experience. Your only responsibility is to be! I can tell you what happens on retreat but you just don’t know until you feel it. There is a shift. Something softens, something that feels like a memory arrives and you feel your spark come back, you laugh, you nourish yourself inside and out, you marvel again, you remember who you are without the noise and busyness.

Thank you!! Every follower is a beautiful human who chose to follow my retreats , support my dreams and be a part of this community! I appreciate every single like , comment and interaction. I know social media can feel disconnected sometimes, but I like to think that no matter what the platform is it’s the intention that matters. I hope my intention to make this space a place of joy, community comes across. I hope we get to connect whether it’s on retreat in Greece or Italy or sharing in comments or messages.
