Missed the deadline? You can still apply to study abroad in Rome for the spring of 2024! MDSC student Nailah Lloyd-Jones ‘24 studied abroad in Rome, Italy this past spring with MDSC professor Lisa Patti and WRRH professor Benjamin Ristow. Hear what she has to say about her time abroad: “I knew I wanted to study abroad in Italy since freshman year and my semester in Rome did not disappoint. The city is full of so much culture-you can look outside your apartment window to see a building from hundreds of years ago, the food is absolutely amazing, and the people are extremely kind and welcoming. It was nice to be in a faculty-led program as you get to share your experience with the HWS group for a lifetime. Along with this you have the benefit of going on weekend excursions to different Italian towns and cities. This program was a life-changing experience that I was able to come out of with a better grasp on the Italian language, independence, and new friends within and outside of the program.
