Then deciding that all the marks “outside of the lines” is a reminder to be proud of doing something new.

As you find moments of joy as you work to heal from the depths of betrayal due to unwanted p**n use….

… what reminds YOU to take a moment to be proud of the incredible work you are doing?

Remember, you are doing better than you think you are!!!!

Are you trying to trust your husband, but still feel triggered whenever you are around him?

Guess What? Nothing has gone wrong; it’s just your brain trying to keep you safe.

How does knowing this help me? Because recognizing what a trauma response looks like for YOU is critical to healing.

When those big emotions come during the time you are triggered, here is one thing you can do.

And it might not be what you think it is.

Let yourself distrust your husband on purpose!

It does t mean your relationship is broken or in the Fritz

It simply means you need to take care of you!

Trusting your husband will come when YOU are ready

Start by trusting yourself.

You are doing better than you think you are!

One of the most compassionate things you can do for your kids is make sure YOU are taken care of.

I made it to 100 EPISODES!!!!!

I was shocked as I read this!

My next thought was wondering how many people DON’T know the truth, and what is the best way to help people learn?

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

What came to mind after that was how can we decrease the shame around unwanted p**n use, and why is this even important?

It’s important because if the shame is gone, it makes it easier to stop hiding it which makes it easier to overcome the desire for it all together.

Wives of p**n addicts, it’s possible for your husband’s to quit.
