The Nyota Asubuhi Resource Centre, as the School in Herat designed by the same team, is conceived as a set of distinct elements, connected by a large horseshoe-shaped portico that also houses the offices and a clinic, in addition to the spaces for everyday life. The portico is designed to become an infrastructure around which to imagine a possible further growth of the center, welcoming new activities among its generous open spaces, but also the insertion of new volumes on its perimeter.
The centre is therefore an open form, not only as a porous structure open to the landscape, but also because it is ready to accommodate further and unpredictable transformations over time.

La Via del Grano che abbiamo immaginato tra Enna e Piazza Armerina è una infrastruttura che connette e racconta il territorio che attraversa. Reinterpretando il principio del “muretto a secco”, architettura elementare che nasce dal terreno su cui poggia, collega lungo il suo percorso luoghi vicini e lontani, presente e passato, visibile ed invisibile. Questo dispositivo narrativo fa tutto, separa ed accoglie, protegge e segnala, racconta ed inquadra, e si predispone ad invecchiare con naturalezza, ed assomigliare alle rovine che racconta nel suo distendersi tra ferrovie abbandonate, miniere in disuso e foreste | The Via del Grano that we imagined between Enna and Piazza Armerina is an infrastructure that connects and tells the story of the territory it crosses. Reinterpreting the principle of the "dry stone wall", elementary architecture that arises from the ground on which it rests, it connects places near and far, present and past, visible and invisible along its path. This narrative device does everything, separates and welcomes, protects and signals, narrates and frames, and is prepared to age naturally, and resemble the ruins it narrates as it unfolds among abandoned railways, disused mines and forests.
