The V-ROADS 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 is designed to support practical, transparent and job-oriented tourism training, aligned with the European Qualifications Framework and connected to real labour market needs. 🎓✨

Through this shared approach, the project contributes to stronger skills, lifelong learning and more inclusive tourism pathways across Europe.

The V-ROADS Competence Framework is aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), ensuring that its training modules are transparent, competence-based, and recognised across Europe. Positioned at EQF Levels 4–5, the framework supports practical, job-oriented learning while promoting mobility, lifelong learning, and stronger connections between education and the labour market.

Through 𝗩-𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗𝗦, partners from Albania, Croatia and Italy are working together to strengthen digital, inclusive and flexible skills in the tourism sector.

From the 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝗽 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 to the development of micro-credential-based training modules, the project is building new learning opportunities for a changing tourism market. 🌍🎓

What is inside?
We did a deep research in Albania to understand the real training needs at VET level for the tourism sector. We looked at what schools teach and what tourism companies really need.

This report clearly shows the missing digital, inclusive, and green skills.
It is our guide to plan our next 𝟔 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬.

📊 The Skills Gap Analysis in Albania’s tourism VET sector has officially begun!

Our Albanian partner Tjetër Vizion is currently launching the research activities, including focus group discussions with key stakeholders from the tourism sector, VET providers and institutions.
This important phase will help us identify the real skills needs and gaps in tourism — especially in inclusive practices and safety in outdoor and mountain tourism — so that the six short training courses (micro-credentials) we will develop are truly relevant and responsive to the labour market needs in Albania.

We thank Tjetër Vizion for leading this crucial first step and all the stakeholders who will contribute with their experience and insights.

🌟 “The Future of Tourism Skills in Albania” - V-ROADS 1st Dissemination Event – A great success in Elbasan!

On 31 March 2026 at Hotel Real Scampis, the project brought stakeholders together for a dynamic day of dialogue and collaboration.

Organized by CIFLA - Centro per l'Innovazione Fondazione Flaminia and moderated by Diana Kasa (𝐓𝐣𝐞𝐭𝐞̈𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧), the day featured:

🔵 Presentation on micro-credentials and EQF alignment by Ivone Mataja (𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄-Croatia)

🟡 Insightful panel discussion with A***n Cala (Tjetër Vizion), Artur Guni (𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦), Krenar Xhemali (𝐐𝐅𝐏𝐏 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 / 𝐀𝐊𝐏𝐀), Elvis Kotherja (tourism entrepreneur) and Arjol Lule (University of Tirana)

🟠 Interactive group work sessions where participants identified the most needed skills for the development of Albanian tourism , training gaps and practical solutions.

Overall, the event successfully created a shared vision among stakeholders and laid the groundwork for developing more responsive, inclusive, and future-oriented VET solutions within the project.
