The courses, entirely held in English, are taught by international professors as well as by leading industry experts.

The Master in Business and Management (MBM) is delivered by the School of Economics and Business Administration and the School of Pharmacy of the University of Padova, in partnership with the European Fragrance and Cosmetics Master (EFCM). The Master in Business and Management (MBM) started in 2002 through an agreement between the Department of Economics and Management and the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Padova, ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum e de la Cosmétique Aromatique Alimentaire) and the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines. The MBM main aim is to train professionals with a Bachelor degree in a non-business area in order to be able to learn and apply concepts, contents and the language related to the management field. The Master provides both a solid knowledge in different aspects of the management area (accounting and finance, management in organizations, marketing management and customer’s behavior, strategic management of the enterprises, business plan, operations management, advanced topics in management) and a specific view on the Fragrance & Cosmetics sector. The classes are composed of both Italian and foreign students. In the current edition and in the 15 past ones we have had students from: France, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Iceland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brasil, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, India, China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia.

Hello everyone!!!
yes I know 🤦‍♀️it's been a long g time since our last news about Master MBM. As of March 2020 , students and university staff had to make significant adjustments in response to to the spread of COVID-19 BUT!!! despite all this Master MBM together with French partners for EFCM program never stopped. like most of the universities over the world we have transitioned to a system of ‘blended learning’. a mixture of online and in-person classes. we had students who were able to travel and so had the opportunity to attend classes on-site and students who were not able and so preferred going online. let's have a look at our unforgettable moments with the group of 2020/2021 (39 students from 18 countries) and let me say that we just welcomed the new EFCM-MBM 2021/2022 group in Padova

During the OP course, our students saw interesting activities. we had one of our best former MBM students, Marcello Bellani, Group Supply Chain Director at Chromavis Fareva who analysed an OP lipstick manufacturing case study. The students faced a practical exercise called "Lean simulation". In addition, they have also had the opportunity to meet Paolo Soprano Operations manager at Pettenon cosmetics(Professional hair and skincare) company who gave a very interesting speech on a case of lean implementation.

as mentioned before during Management in Organisations course our students carried out a class exercise which consisted of a simulation to help them experience what an interview is and how to improve the skills during a talk with a recruiter. There were 12 groups of three with three roles observer, recruiter and candidate.

The first month of the MBM program is almost over: we started with two pre-openning conferences held by Elena Colombo former Marketing director luxury at Coty Inc. These sessions were aimed at offering an overview of the modules students will undertake over the year. This should allow all participants to 'connect the dots' of the academic journey along the year and develop readiness to enter/start a real business entity. Then the first Module , Accounting and Finance taught by prof. Andrea Menini and Luisa Pastega has been successfully completed. This course introduced students to the most important concepts and principles of accounting and finance.
