There’s something a little crazy about moving to Sicily and building a business. It helps when you find your best friend here… and she’s crazy enough to dream as big as you do. 😂❤️
Somewhere between the espresso, market mornings, late-night planning sessions and a shared love for this island… was born.
And I think people feel that when they travel with us. Nothing is forced. We genuinely love what we do, and we genuinely love doing it together.

A few years ago, I started during a moment when the world felt uncertain.
Like many people, I was navigating a lot of change in my own life. Cooking became a way to reconnect, first through online classes, and eventually through the people who kept showing up at the table.
What I didn’t expect was where that path would lead.
Sicily caught me slowly.
First through the markets. Then the food. Then the people.
I realized something here that feels even more true today: the things we think are simple… sharing a meal, walking through a market, opening a bottle of wine with new friends, are actually the things that ground us when life feels uncertain.
Cook Eat Live Happy began as a way to connect people through food.
Today that connection has grown into something even bigger.
Through , I now have the privilege of welcoming guests for ten days at a time, not just to visit Sicily, but to experience the island the way it unfolds when you slow down.
The kind of moments that remind us what really matters.
If you’re curious about how began, I shared the full story on the blog

And if Sicily has been quietly calling you… you know where to find me.

The market is so much more than fresh ingredients.
It’s where community comes together.
Where recipes are shared, seasons are celebrated, and everyday life unfolds.
I fell in love with Sicily the moment I stepped into Capo Market. Within days, it felt like home.
Three years later, it feels like family.
This is what I love sharing with visitors.
Whether it’s your first time in Sicily or your tenth, the soul of a place reveals itself slowly, through conversations, familiar faces, and the rhythm of daily life. It’s here, among the stalls and stories, that you begin to truly know its people.
This is where the real Sicily begins. 💛
