EDUlab Team was at the ALP-POP conference 2025 in La Thuile❄️
On the 14th of January Andrea Pietrolucci and Moris Triventi presented their research poster titled "Moving to the opportunity land: how school-related geographical mobility affects student achievement trajectories", co-authored with Stefano Cantalini and Nazareno Panichella.
Key insight? 📚 School mobility from marginal to central areas has a positive and protective effect on students educational achievement.

Edulab was at the First Conference on Computational Social Science in Trento!
📚 Guido Salza presented a joint work with Moris Triventi, "Understanding Educational Differentiation: A Computational Approach to Analyzing Schools’ Self-Evaluation Narratives". This work explores how schools develop their own institutional identities in the context of neoliberal educational policies (NLPs) leveraging on text analysis and machine learning techniques.
