Una giornata speciale a contatto con la natura!

I bambini delle classi Reception e Year 1 del Kindergarten di BDC School Cologno hanno vissuto una meravigliosa esperienza all’Asinoteca, un’occasione unica per imparare, esplorare e crescere attraverso il contatto diretto con gli animali e l’ambiente naturale.

Tra passeggiate all’aria aperta, momenti di cura e tante coccole ai loro nuovi amici a quattro zampe, i nostri piccoli studenti hanno scoperto le abitudini degli animali e l’importanza del rispetto e della relazione con il mondo che li circonda.

Il viaggio in pullman ha reso l’avventura ancora più emozionante, trasformando la giornata in un’esperienza ricca di entusiasmo, curiosità e nuove scoperte.

Perché a BDC School crediamo che l’apprendimento più significativo nasca anche fuori dall’aula, attraverso esperienze autentiche che aiutano i bambini a sviluppare consapevolezza, empatia e amore per la natura. 💚✨

A special day in nature!

The Reception and Year 1 children from BDC School Cologno Kindergarten enjoyed a wonderful experience at the Asinoteca, a unique opportunity to learn, explore and grow through direct contact with animals and the natural environment.

Through outdoor walks, caring moments and plenty of cuddles with their new four-legged friends, our young learners discovered animal habits and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of respect, empathy and connection with the world around them.

The coach trip made the adventure even more exciting, turning the day into an experience filled with enthusiasm, curiosity and new discoveries.

At BDC School, we believe that some of the most meaningful learning happens beyond the classroom, through authentic experiences that help children develop awareness, empathy and a genuine love for nature. 💚✨

Sports Day | BDC School Meda Middle School 🏅

Lo sport rappresenta molto più di un’attività fisica: è un’occasione per crescere, imparare e costruire competenze che accompagnano gli studenti ben oltre l’ambiente scolastico.

Durante lo Sports Day interno della Middle School di BDC School Meda, i nostri studenti hanno vissuto una giornata ricca di energia, partecipazione e condivisione, mettendosi alla prova attraverso attività sportive e sfide che hanno valorizzato non solo le capacità individuali, ma anche il lavoro di squadra, il rispetto e la collaborazione.

In BDC School crediamo che l’educazione passi anche attraverso il movimento e le esperienze pratiche. Lo sport diventa infatti uno strumento fondamentale per sviluppare determinazione, spirito di squadra, fiducia in sé stessi e la capacità di affrontare nuove sfide con entusiasmo e consapevolezza.

Sports Day | BDC School Meda Middle School 🏅

Sport represents much more than physical activity: it is an opportunity to grow, learn, and develop skills that support students far beyond the school environment.

During the BDC School Meda Middle School Sports Day, our students experienced a day full of energy, participation, and shared experiences, challenging themselves through sports activities and competitions that highlighted not only individual abilities, but also teamwork, respect, and collaboration.

At BDC School, we believe that education also takes place through movement and hands-on experiences. Sport becomes a fundamental tool for developing determination, team spirit, self-confidence, and the ability to face new challenges with enthusiasm and awareness.

Because growing also means learning how to support one another, encourage each other, and achieve new goals together. 💪✨

Tre giorni indimenticabili a Lizzola (BG) per la classe Y5 di BDC School Cologno!

Un’esperienza completamente immersa nella natura, tra avventura, scoperta e vita all’aria aperta. Gli studenti hanno avuto l’opportunità di vivere momenti autentici dedicati ad attività pratiche e alla scoperta del valore delle cose semplici, riscoprendo il contatto con la natura e il piacere della condivisione.

Non sono mancate le emozioni e le sfide: per molti è stata la prima esperienza di arrampicata, un’attività coinvolgente che ha permesso ai ragazzi di mettersi alla prova, sviluppare coraggio, collaborazione e rafforzare lo spirito di squadra. 💪🧗‍♂️

E poi uno dei momenti più speciali: la serata intorno al falò 🔥, tra racconti, sorrisi, risate e momenti che hanno reso questa esperienza ancora più significativa.

Tre giorni ricchi di crescita, amicizia, nuove scoperte e ricordi che accompagneranno i ragazzi ancora a lungo. ❤️

Three unforgettable days in Lizzola (BG) for the Y5 class of BDC School Cologno!

An amazing experience fully immersed in nature, filled with adventure, discovery, and outdoor living. Students had the opportunity to enjoy meaningful hands-on activities while discovering the value of simple things, reconnecting with nature and sharing special moments together.

There were also exciting challenges along the way: for many students, this was their first rock-climbing experience — an inspiring activity that encouraged courage, teamwork, and collaboration. 💪🧗‍♂️

One of the most memorable moments was gathering around the campfire 🔥, sharing stories, laughter, and experiences that made this adventure even more meaningful.

Three days full of growth, friendship, new discoveries, and memories that will stay with them for a long time. ❤️

Sabato - BDC School Cologno - ha partecipato con entusiasmo alla Mezza Maratona di Cernusco, classificandosi tra le prime scuole del territorio per numero di partecipanti!

Lo sport rappresenta uno dei pilastri fondamentali del percorso educativo di BDC School: un’opportunità per promuovere benessere, spirito di squadra, impegno e crescita personale dentro e fuori dall’aula.

È stata una splendida giornata all’insegna dell’energia, della condivisione e del divertimento, che ha coinvolto bambini e ragazzi di tutte le età, dai più piccoli ai più grandi.

Un grazie speciale ai maestri Mattia e Ilaria per aver accompagnato e supportato i nostri studenti in questa bellissima esperienza 💙

Last Saturday, BDC School Cologno enthusiastically took part in the Cernusco Half Marathon, ranking among the top schools in the area for number of participants! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉

Sport represents one of the core pillars of BDC School’s educational journey: an opportunity to promote wellbeing, teamwork, commitment, and personal growth both inside and outside the classroom.

It was a wonderful day filled with energy, sharing, and fun, bringing together children and students of all ages, from the youngest to the oldest.

A special thank you to teachers Mattia and Ilaria for accompanying and supporting our students throughout this fantastic experience 💙

Last Saturday, we enjoyed a special spring event dedicated to discovery, exploration, and curiosity 🐝

Through a STEM-inspired experience, children had the opportunity to observe, experiment, and learn while having fun: from the fascinating world of bees to creative workshops, from small experiments to moments of discovery connected with nature ✨

Filled with smiles, new experiences, and plenty of positive energy, the children shared enthusiasm, curiosity, and the joy of learning through hands-on experiences 💛

An experience filled with nature, learning, and beautiful memories to treasure forever 🌿

Oggi celebriamo chi insegna ogni giorno il valore dell’amore, della cura e della forza silenziosa.

Oggi gli studenti di BDC School hanno incontrato Chiara Montanari, prima donna italiana a guidare una spedizione in Antartide e professionista con oltre 15 anni di esperienza nelle missioni polari internazionali.

Attraverso il racconto delle sue esperienze nelle basi di ricerca più estreme del pianeta, Chiara ha condiviso con i ragazzi il valore di resilienza, leadership, collaborazione, adattabilità e pensiero strategico, offrendo una riflessione autentica su come affrontare sfide e complessità.

Un incontro altamente ispirante che ha permesso agli studenti di avvicinarsi ai temi dell’esplorazione, della ricerca e della crescita personale, in piena sintonia con la visione educativa internazionale di BDC School.

Today, BDC School students met Chiara Montanari, the first Italian woman to lead an expedition to Antarctica and a professional with more than 15 years of experience in international polar missions.

Through the stories of her experiences in some of the most extreme research stations on the planet, Chiara shared with students the importance of resilience, leadership, collaboration, adaptability, and strategic thinking, offering an authentic reflection on how to face challenges and complexity.

It was a highly inspiring meeting that allowed students to engage with themes such as exploration, research, and personal growth, fully reflecting BDC School’s international educational vision.

Nell’ambito del recente rinnovo del Protocollo d’Intesa tra la Polizia di Stato e il Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito, è stato avviato anche per l’anno scolastico 2025/2026 il progetto “PretenDiamo Legalità”, giunto alla sua 9ª edizione.

L’iniziativa, finalizzata a promuovere i valori della legalità, del rispetto delle regole e dei principi della Costituzione italiana, ha coinvolto anche gli studenti BDC attraverso momenti di confronto e attività dedicate.

Gli incontri sono stati strutturati in base alle fasce d’età:

• Classi Y2 e Y3 – attività “Mi muovo in sicurezza!”, dedicata alla sicurezza stradale e ferroviaria, per sensibilizzare i bambini sull’importanza di comportamenti responsabili negli spostamenti quotidiani.

• Classi Y4, Y5 e Y6 – attività “Non ferire con le parole”, incentrata sul riconoscimento dell’hate speech, per riflettere sul linguaggio, sul rispetto reciproco e sull’impatto delle parole nelle relazioni.

Un percorso educativo che ha offerto spunti concreti per la crescita civica e personale degli studenti, rafforzando consapevolezza e senso di responsabilità.

As part of the recent renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Police and the Ministry of Education and Merit, the project “PretenDiamo Legalità” has been launched for the 2025/2026 school year, now in its 9th edition.

The initiative, aimed at promoting the values of legality, respect for rules, and the principles of the Italian Constitution, also involved BDC students through dedicated activities and moments of discussion.

The sessions were structured according to age groups:

• Years 2 and 3 – “Moving Safely!” activity, focused on road and railway safety, helping children understand the importance of responsible behaviour in everyday mobility.

• Years 4, 5 and 6 – “Words Can Hurt”, centred on recognising hate speech, encouraging reflection on language, mutual respect, and the impact of words in relationships.

An educational journey that provided meaningful insights for students’ civic and personal development, strengthening awareness and a sense of responsibility.

Oggi alla BDC School abbiamo vissuto il primo dei tre step del percorso di raccordo tra Kinder e Primary 💫

I bambini di Y5, pronti a diventare i "grandi" del prossimo anno, hanno incontrato i più piccoli di Y1 in un'attività di condivisione ricca di emozioni. Tra sorrisi, attenzioni e gesti spontanei, hanno dimostrato responsabilità, sensibilità e una naturale capacità di prendersi cura degli altri.

Questo primo incontro segna l'avvio di un percorso che accompagnerà i bambini nel passaggio tra i due cicli scolastici, favorendo continuità, sicurezza e senso di appartenenza.

Momenti come questo sono il cuore della nostra proposta educativa: costruire legami, sostenere le transizioni e valorizzare ogni fase della crescita.

Perché crescere insieme significa diventare non solo studenti, ma gli uomini e le donne del domani 💛

Today at BDC School we experienced the first of three steps in our transition pathway between Kinder and Primary 💫

The Y5 children, ready to become next year's "big kids," met the younger Y1 students in an activity full of sharing and emotion. Through smiles, attentiveness and spontaneous gestures, they showed responsibility, sensitivity and a natural ability to care for others.

This first meeting marks the start of a journey that will support the children through the transition between the two school cycles, fostering continuity, security and a sense of belonging.

Moments like this are at the heart of our educational vision: building connections, supporting transitions and valuing every stage of growth.

Because growing together means becoming not just students, but the men and women of tomorrow 💛
