A warm welcome to who recently joined our team as a PhD student!

Francesco Parlato is a Ph.D. student in Materials Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He holds a M.Sc. cm laude in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology from Politecnico di Milano and a B.Sc. cm laude in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Naples Federico II. His previous research revolved around the corrosion of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys in natural or synthetic environments. He will be now involved in a new project on the Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion of steel under the co-supervision of Prof. Ormellese (PoliLaPP) and Prof. Candiani (μBioMi Lab).
