🇮🇹 Already have a good foundation in Italian and want to take your language skills further?
A2 LEVEL

It’s time to move beyond the basics and become a more confident, capable Italian speaker. 🇮🇹✨

Italian Upper Improvers at Hills Road Adult Education is designed for learners who have studied Italian for around two years and want to continue developing their skills.

In this course, we’ll build on what you already know while focusing on:

🗣️ Speaking – communicate with greater confidence and spontaneity
👂 Listening – improve your understanding of spoken Italian
📖 Reading – work with a wider range of vocabulary and texts
✍️ Writing – express yourself more accurately and confidently
📚 Grammar – develop a deeper understanding of how Italian works
💬 Real-life communication – use Italian in practical, everyday situations

The aim isn’t simply to learn more grammar or vocabulary.

It’s about turning the Italian you already know into language you can actually use with confidence. 🇮🇹

Whether you’re learning Italian for travel, your love of Italy, family connections, culture or simply the challenge of becoming a better speaker, this course is the perfect opportunity to keep progressing.

A little reflection on language teaching 🇮🇹

Speaking a language and teaching a language are two different skills.

Being a native speaker is certainly valuable, but being able to teach a language effectively requires much more: training, qualifications, knowledge of language acquisition, teaching methodology and, above all, experience.

Behind every effective lesson there is often a lot that students don’t see — years of study, professional training, lesson planning, adapting to different learning styles and continuously developing as a teacher.

I believe that professional language teaching deserves to be recognised as a qualified profession, just like any other.

I’m proud to be a qualified Italian teacher, and proud of the years I have invested in developing the skills and experience needed to help my students learn Italian with confidence. 🇮🇹

Because speaking Italian is one thing. Knowing how to teach it is another.
