Quello che caratterizza il nostro progetto, oltre all’attenzione agli sviluppi più recenti e ‘di avanguardia’ dei dibattiti su e nel Salento e sulle questioni di genere, è il suo particolare format a ‘tavola rotonda’. Crediamo necessario, infatti, instaurare un dialogo proficuo tra i diversi ‘attori’ sociali presenti sul territorio in un contesto di ‘orizzontalità’, in cui ciascuno abbia la possib
ilità di far sentire la propria voce e di ascoltare e imparare dalle posizioni di degli altri. Accademici, intellettuali locali e non, amministratori, docenti, studenti e tutte le persone interessate possono sedere, letteralmente, allo stesso tavolo e partecipare a dialoghi su temi e luoghi che appartengono a TUTTI NOI. Kore is a research-centered organization located in the Salento area of Italy, focusing on gender studies and on the Salento territory. In addition to promoting the divulgation of the more recent and groundbreaking debates on and in Salento and around gender studies, this project is characterized by its particular ‘round-table’ format. We believe in the necessity, today in particular, of promoting a productive dialogue among different social actors operating on the territory in a ‘horizontal’ context, where each one of us could speak, listen, and learn from the others. Academicians, local and external intellectuals, administrators, teachers, students, and all the persons who are interested can, literally, sit at the same table and participate to debates on themes and places that belong to US ALL.
