This popped up on my memories and I just had to share it again!💛

I wanted to share with you some of what I painted with the kids at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in Honduras this time last year. This trip was a little different than past years, in that we spent more one-on-one time with the kids working on smaller projects instead of me teaching in a bigger class setting and I have to say, I loved it!!

It not only allowed me to talk with them while we worked on projects but allowed them to find their own creativity in the process too! We had so much fun together and I even got to teach the other ladies on the trip how they could do simple watercolor with the kids. It was so special!

I am going to share a few pics of what we worked on! We did bookmarks, paintings, pillow cases and bracelets.

It also was a great reminder for me that each one of us can use our gifts to bless others in our lives if we just look for the opportunities!

Between the bright pinks, turquoise blues, playful brushstrokes, and beachy vibes, this painting feels like summer on canvas.

And the best part? You do not need to be an experienced painter to create it.
