Before you go setting your New Moon intentions and manifestations, ask yourself this…

Am I calling in what I truly desire, or what I think will finally make me feel loved, safe, worthy, or complete?

With this New Moon in Libra and Venus retrograde in Scorpio, there’s a beautiful invitation to look at our relationships, not just with others, but with ourselves.

Where am I compromising my own truth to keep the peace? What am I still holding onto that no longer feels aligned? And can I create space for something new without needing to control exactly how it arrives?

Sometimes before we call more into our lives, we need to listen to what’s already asking for our attention.

Sharing a little of my voice with you today. Take a moment to breathe, receive, and come back to yourself. 🤍🌑

I know this was meant to be cute content, but I have to say something.

Sound healing is not a status symbol.

And yes, I know the luxury bowl brand being referenced and sold here. I could have an entirely separate conversation about the marketing and culture surrounding high-end instruments, but that’s not actually the point of this post.

The point is what happens when we start equating price, exclusivity and aesthetics with mastery.

Mixing metal and crystal is not “un-chic.” Mixing different price points is not “un-chic.” (It’s also not un-chic in fashion either btw)
They are different instruments with different qualities, and there are plenty of moments when I intentionally reach for metal because crystal is simply not what the space needs.

And honestly, I think we need to be careful with this messaging.

Because somewhere there is a person who desperately wants their first bowl, watching content like this and thinking they need to save thousands of dollars …. or literally go into …. before they can be “legitimate.”

You don’t.

You don’t need the most expensive bowls.
There is wisdom in those white frosted bowls that you have no idea !
And the price of your instruments does not determine the depth of your facilitation.

I say this as someone who teaches sound AND sells bowls. That is a fu***ng hard line to walk.

How do we share and sell instruments we genuinely love without creating hierarchy around who can afford them?

How do we appreciate beautiful things without confusing luxury with mastery?

And how do we make fun content without making someone at the beginning of their path feel like what they have isn’t good enough?

Maybe some people will disagree with me. That’s okay.

But personally, I want sound to become more accessible - white frosted bowls changed my LIFE !

Presence before performance.
Listening before technique.
Curiosity before certainty.

I love powerful experiences.

I’ve had experiences that completely changed the direction of my life.

But I also think we need to talk about the addiction to them.

Because at some point, constantly needing to feel expanded, activated, connected, blissed out, cracked open or transformed starts looking a lot like avoidance.

Can you still meet yourself when nothing is happening?

The space between the peaks is where you find out whether you actually embodied it.

I’m much less interested these days in how profound someone’s spiritual experiences are.

I’m interested in who they are on a random Tuesday.

That’s also a huge part of what I care about in the spaces I create.

Not giving you another peak to chase … but creating experiences that bring you deeper into your body, your voice, your listening, your relationship with yourself.

That’s the intention behind Lemurian FREQUEN-SEA this November.

This is not a retreat where you come and lie on a mat receiving sound for five days.

You’re going to get your hands on the bowls, use your voice, work with sound, energy + the body.

We’re going to move, swim, practice, eat, rest + play together.

My dad has said this to me my entire life 😂

And I think I’m only just starting to understand it.

I believe deeply in surrender. In trusting life. In listening. In allowing things to unfold instead of trying to control every outcome.

Some of the most beautiful things in my life have happened that way.

But somewhere along the way, I think we started confusing surrender with doing nothing.

Waiting for the sign!!!! Or that is like sooo aligned or that door just opens for you 😱

But you know what … sometimes you have to open the fu***ng door yourself.

Manifestation without participation is just wishing.

There is surrender AND there is will.
There is listening AND there is action.
There is trust AND there is choice.

We need both.

And this Aries Full Moon feels like a pretty perfect reminder of that. 🔥🌕

So I’m curious:

What are you waiting for that might actually be asking you to move?
