Moments and memories from our 5th International Student Conference, held in Paris from March 5 to 9, 2026, at the cultural center "La Ferme du Buisson".

For five days we were filled with joy, excitement, student smiles and amazing projects showcased in the Exhibition and on Stage. The dedication of the educators, the effort of the students and the quality of the work deeply moved us.

ELEMASYN®'s 5th International Student Conference has received yet another significant institutional recognition:
Just a few days before its opening, the General Director of Paris Je t’aime – Office de Tourisme, the city’s official tourism promotion authority under the seal of the Municipality of Paris (Mairie de Paris), sent us an official letter, wishing us every success!

This gesture adds to the 5th International Student Conference, in addition to the patronage of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, the institutional recognition and prestige of the Municipality of Paris (Mairie de Paris).
At the same time, it highlights the educational and international dimension of our Conferences, emphasizing their impact in every city where they take place.

Pierre-Simon Laplace, often referred to as the “French Newton”, was one of the foremost figures of Enlightenment scientific thought:
- Through his work, he demonstrated that natural phenomena can be explained through mathematical laws, contributing decisively to the formation of the modern scientific method.
- His monumental work “Mécanique celeste” offered a new and systematic understanding of the structure and functioning of the universe.
- At the same time, his contribution to probability theory highlighted the importance of statistical reasoning in science and in decision making.

It is no coincidence that he is buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery among individuals who shaped the intellectual history of Paris.

An emblematic scientist, Laplace belongs to the thematic axis of Science, one of the three core pillars of our Conferences.

At our 5th International Student Conference, which will take place in Paris from 5 to 9 March 2026, we too will “dare” to engage closely with the monumental legacy of Pierre-Simon Laplace.

Paris is undertaking one of its most ambitious urban transformations, reimagining the Champs-Élysées and the Place de l’Étoile area by 2030!

The project envisions reduced car traffic, increased greenery, expanded pedestrian spaces and safer routes for cyclists, aiming to enhance both quality of life and the experience of public space around the Arc de Triomphe.

This initiative forms part of the city’s broader strategy that invests consistently in sustainability and in its green transformation.
