THE SCHOOL OF RELIGION AT SELINUS UNIVERSITY IS BORN: Six Departments and 49 PhD Majors.

Selinus University is pleased to announce the establishment of the first School of Religion, which warmly welcomes students of all faiths. A global project founded on universal values of love and peaceful coexistence. The School of Religion offers a program leading to a PhD in Religious Sciences The university offers a diverse range of departments, including Islamic Studies, Biblical Studies, Jewish Studies, Buddhist Studies, and Hindu Studies, each of which provides six majors. Additionally, the Religious Studies department offers a total of nine majors.All study programs are accredited by the World Certification Institute (WCI).
As an institution, our goal is for schools and universities to be places of peace, dialogue, and brotherhood. Every aspect, ranging from organization to education, from relationships to approach to knowledge, from space for diversity to democratic participation, should be oriented towards peace. This is the mission of Selinus University's School of Religious Studies: to promote a modern approach to religious education and peace studies from an interdisciplinary and research perspective, delving into theoretical and practical aspects of today's ever-changing world.
We embrace the challenge by drawing from the core teachings of various faiths, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, and other religions, all rooted in shared values and a commitment to peace. The World Certification Institute (WCI) has renewed the Accreditation of our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by Research programme for the next five years.

We are very pleased with the continuity value received from the WCI in Washington, which, together with the other quality certificates, after an extensive Board review, confirmed the quality and seriousness prerogatives of our PhD by Research via Distance Learning course.
All the international accreditations of Selinus University, together with the certifications: ISO 9001: internationally recognised reference standard for quality and efficiency of internal management systems. ISO 29990: which defines procedures for maintaining and increasing the quality of education in educational institutions. ISO 21001(EOMS) which specifies the requirements for a management system for educational organisations capable of consistently delivering, sharing and facilitating the construction of knowledge to learners in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements; demonstrating Selinus University's ongoing commitment to the delivery of quality education consistent with its institutional mission.

NEW ANTI-FALSIFICATION TECHNOLOGY
As a global institution, we have addressed the issue of forgery of Degree Certificates. The only way to permanently solve the problem was to activate a holographic seal. The Hologram (Diffractive Optically Variable Image Device) is an optical technology that varies the image according to illumination or viewing angle and, as it is not reproducible, is used as an anti-forgery system. As of the 22 March 2024 graduation session, degree certificates and transcripts will have the holographic anti-forgery seal. This seal is irremovable. At the first attempt to remove it, the seal will self-destruct. This technology, like the one applied to banknotes and credit cards, will make Selinus University's degree certificates unforgeable.

SELINUS UNIVERSITY
has been granted Institutional Accreditation by USHEAC.

The Selinus University of Science and Literature was awarded Institutional Accreditation by the USHEAC (United States Higher Education Accreditation Commission). USHEAC is a non-profit, public benefit NGO in the State of California, USA. It serves as a cohesive entity that brings together higher education accreditation agencies, universities, and colleges seeking recognition by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). USHEAC is a subsidiary of the California University FCE-Amorsolo Foundation Incorporated. Acceptance by the California Department of Education, the California State Board of Education, the U.S. Department of Education, and several international universities is based on the evaluation of the curricula, academic programs, and faculty credentials of non-accredited U.S. universities. The evaluation is an integral part of the university's documentation process for applying for regional accreditation, which precedes submission to one of the seven US regional accreditation commissions.
The achievement of accreditation by USHEAC indicates to the public that the Selinus University of Science and Literature has met the rigorous quality assurance standards set by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Crucially, graduates of institutions accredited by the United States Higher Education Accreditation Commission (USHEAC) will receive California University FCE degrees equivalent to US degrees after careful evaluation of the courses. These degrees are comparable in level and purpose to those awarded by regionally accredited universities in the United States of America.
