The valve sector has seen dramatic changes in technologies in the past years with new products, stricter requirements from end users, ever changing set of international standard. The Italian valves manufacturers as a whole and its supply chain have demonstrated a sustained ability to answer the expectations of the market and have been able to raise to the challenge, thanks to their strong history
and commitment, its varied multi-disciplinary structure and the ample pool of specialized expertise available in the region. The newly established VALVEcampus Association, was incentivized by a pool of Industries working in the “Industrial Valves and Components” sector, and was founded by a small group of Companies (in alphabetic order):

in collaboration with Confindustria Bergamo and Università degli Studi di Bergamo – Engineering Department, to promote a new Educational Agency, exclusively dedicated to the professional training of all the “Industrial Valves and Components” stakeholders. The VALVEcampus Association is regulated by a statute, according to the law. The articles of Association explain the Association mission, the guidance and management committees, the constitution of scientific committee which will be responsible for the education program. All the Italian Companies that have a manufacturing unit of goods and technical services in the “Industrial Valves and Components” sector, can be able to join the Association. Association - Costs

The Association will dispense specialized training courses on a regular basis, with the intent to be, both on the Italian Area and on the International “Industrial Valves and Components” Market, the Primary Training Institution for the professional upgrade. The Educational Plan, will be addressed to learners that already work in the Valves & Components Industry or that have the intention to join that Industry in the future, like:
• Associate and non Associate Employees
• Valves and Components Industry Clients Employees
• Graduates in technical disciplines
It will offer training courses about the following disciplinary areas:
• Valves: Classification, Standard and Regulations
• Metallic Materials: Characteristics, Treatments and Weldings
• Gaskets and Sealings: Elastomers, Polymers e Graphite
• Inspections: Inspection Standards and Protocol
• Actuators and gearboxes: Types and classification.
