Meanwhile, all 10 parallel venues were buzzing with activity, hosting sessions dedicated to ongoing research, including a book launch, journal keynote, and short film screening.

The 11th Nordic Geographers Meeting is officially launched!
Today started with a captivating keynote from Andri Snær Magnason. Drawing on themes from Time and Water, he explored the intersections of storytelling, science communication, personal experience, and our understanding of paradigm shifts in a rapidly changing world.

The first parallel sessions followed, filling the programme with inspiring research, lively discussions, and new perspectives. A few highlights, and perhaps a few familiar faces, from an excellent start to NGM11!
