When we are really worried about something we tend to stop thinking rationally. Our thoughts get into a spin; What will be? How will it look? What will happen when….? What will happen to me? What can I do? How will it affect my life?
Let´s say that I really want to go to the movies, but I don´t go because I am pretty sure that everyone at the theater will start staring at me and laughing as they notice my bad haircut.

What are you thinking about most of the time?
Your thoughts have a huge impact on how you feel. Mainly happy thoughts = > you feel more happy than sad. Overwhelming sad thoughts = > you start feeling sad. When we are really worried about something we tend to stop thinking rationally.

Decide not to let your worries control your life any more.
If you worry a lot – you can start being anxious.
Anxiety can f.x. lead to social phobia as you start planing your daily actions so you can pass difficult situations by.
Severe anxiety can lead to depression.

Let´s remember we should embrace our worries along with all our other feelings. All our feelings are important, also the ones we find difficult and hurtful. It is healthy to worry up to a certain extense because our worries tell us something may not be right.
Our thoughts and feelings are a vital and important part of our live, something we do not want to ignore – nor to be without – as without them we would be more like robots, not human.
BUT we need to be able to take control over our thoughts – not allow them to control our feelings and actions.
Feeling anxiety free is a better way to enjoy your life.

Why do I feel so anxious?
There can be many reasons for your anxiety, but there is always something that gets it going, that starts the anxiety feelings flowing and that is what I, Jona, see as the missing puzzle piece you need to get a hold of. This is called “the trigger”.
When you can figure out what the trigger is in a specific anxiety filled circumstances you have experienced, and perhaps more than once, then you are well on your way to be able to control your stress and your anxiety.
