Aðalfundur Foreldrafélags Álftamýrarskóla verður haldinn í dag, miðvikudaginn 26. ágúst í sal skólans kl: 18:00.
Farið verður yfir ársskýrslu og ársreikninga þessa skólaárs og skipulag fyrir það næsta.
Einnig verður kosið í nýja stjórn félagsins.
Við vorum ansi fáliðuð í stjórninni seinasta vetur og nú stefnir í að við verðum ennþá færri eða 3. Það er því mjög mikilvægt að fá fleiri inn í stjórnina til að geta staðið undir verkefnum foreldrafélagsins, sem eru að mestu létt og skemmtileg og lítið mál ef fleiri hendur bætast við hópinn!
Hlutverk stjórnarmeðlima er m.a:
• að skipuleggja og stýra viðburðum á vegum félagsins,
• sitja í skólaráði og Foreldraþorpinu.
• Funda stutt nokkrum sinnum yfir veturinn.
• Skipuleggja foreldrarölt
Við hlökkum til að sjá ykkur og að taka við nýju fólki í stjórnina! Það verður nammi!

The Annual General Meeting of the Álftamýrarskóli Parent Association will be held TODAY —on Wednesday, August 26th—in the school hall at 18:00.
We will review the annual report and financial statements for the past school year and discuss plans for the upcoming one.
Elections for the new board will also take place.
We were short-staffed on the board last winter, and it looks like we will have even fewer members—only three—this coming year. It is therefore crucial to recruit more people to the board to handle the association's activities; these tasks are mostly light, fun, and easily managed if more hands join the team!
The roles of board members include:
• organizing and managing events hosted by the association,
• serving on the School Council and the "Foreldraþorpið" (Parent Village) committee,
• attending brief meetings a few times during the winter,
• organizing parent patrols.
We look forward to seeing you and welcoming new members to the board! There will be treats!
