Mahmoodiyeh Office Project (Dialogue of Transparency and Solidity)
Client: Pars Esta industrial group
Location: Mahmoodiyeh / Tehran
Total Floor Area : 270 sqm
Function: Office
Mechanical: Iman Lotfollahi
Electrical : Aydin Afshar

The Mahmoudieh Office Project is about the renovation and redesign of two combined units from buildings dating back to the 1960s, located along the longest street in Iran. The sequence of eastern and western windows, along with the pleasant view of Valiasr Street’s trees, inspired the design of a solid central core enveloped by a grooved shell.

To maintain the continuity of this shell-space relationship, preserve transparency, and allow light to pe*****te deep into the interior, all office areas have been designed either as open spaces or divided by transparent partitions. The solid central core accommodates service areas, while the reception area extends from and integrates with the core. The structural body of the space is complemented by wooden furniture, creating a unified architectural composition.

East Pardis Office Building 2021-2024
Client: Private Sector
Location: North Shiraz Ave / Tehran
Total Floor Area: 4060m²
Function: Commercial Office
Mechanical : Bahram Eksiri
Electrical : A4 Group .co
Structural : Fazlolah Jahangard
Photographer : Mohammad Hassan Ettefagh

Flexibility stands at the core of this office building’s design, responding directly to the current economic context. The structural system has been conceived to eliminate interior columns, creating open floor plates that allow for adaptable layouts and varying numbers of units per level. Mechanical and electrical systems are organized in continuous loops, ensuring that future modifications can be accommodated without compromising performance.
The architectural expression reinforces this concept through a restrained material palette: exposed concrete, visible metal profiles, and expansive glass surfaces define the main façade, highlighting both the building’s raw structural honesty and its openness to change.

Niayesh-Sadr Tunnel Entrance
Competition
2012 Client: Tehran Municipality
Location: Niayesh-Sadr Tunnel /Tehran
Total Floor Area: 1000 m²
Function: Public Space The ‘human - urban‘ relation has changed into the ‘automobile – urban‘ relation. We believe that before solving traffic problems we should delve into the human quality of public spaces. The random generation of the “helo chin” arch, which historically is one of oldest arches known, creates an exciting public space on top of the tunnel, in addition to defining the tunnel entrance. The spaces created can be used for a combination of several functions such as galleries, restaurants and green space

Damavand House
2004-2005
Client: Mr. Alireza Mansouri
Location: Damavand / Tehran
Site Area: 2000 m²
Total Floor Area: 270 m²
Function: House
In the design of this house, two principles were sought after; first, having an optimum view of the Damavand peak and Ab-e-Sard village at the same time, and second, trying to capture the north-south sunlight despite the east-west elongation of the lot.
The result is a sculptural form, consisting of three interlocked, angled volumes which ascend symbolically towards the Damavand peak. #طراحی #معماری #معماریداخلی #معمار

Popli Khalatbari Vocational School for Girls
2007-2009
Client: Popli Khalatbari
Charity Foundation
Location:Ferdousi / Tehran
Site Area: 5000 m²
Total Floor Area: 3000 m²
Function: Vocational School

This vocational school, which was funded by the Popli Khalatbari Charitable Foundation (London), consists of educational, administrative and sports functions. These three sections are completely distinctive in the mass of the building .The educational section is a linear structure which is situated in the southern part of the site .The sports hall is a rectangular box with a sloped roof in the northern section and the administrative section which includes the headmistress’s office, connects these two parts with a bridge like effect. This bridge also gives the opportunity of a visual control over both open areas created which act as school yards .The different parts in the educational section follow a linear model with a corridor running through the middle .In the mid-section of this building void spaces have been created in order to break the length of the light in, the length of the corridors seems shorter as well as creating a visual relationship with the exterior.
One of the main objectives of this project was creating a calm and serene space in addition to answering the functional necessities. #مدرسه ّرساز #معماری

Royal Center Qeshm
2010
in collaboration with Behnam Shahbazy
Client: Royal City Building co.
Location: Qeshm Island / Qeshm Island
Site Area: 5470 m²
Total Floor Area Residential Complex: 19868 m²
Total Floor Area 5 Star Hotel:13270 m²
Function: Residential Complex
This project was situated in a triangular plot of land adjacent to the City Center Mall looking towards Zeytoon Park and the Persian Gulf. A hotel as a public domain and a residential complex as a private domain are the two main elements of this project, therefore the hotel was situated beside the main boulevard and the residential complex behind it beside an access road. The hotel was created from two juxtaposed rectangular boxes, one more linear than the other so that all the rooms would benefit from the views towards the park and sea. The residential complex is made from the intersection of two rectangles, in which the angle differentiation results in all the units having sea ward views. Considering the hot and humid weather in Qeshm island, implementing vertical shafts and intersecting horizontal shafts in the mass, gives the building a chance to breath and the units benefit from natural ventilation, and reducing the usage of mechanical and electrical elements during some months of the year.
