Garage Theater Company is an amateur experimental theater group from Ghom, Iran, researching and practicing in the field of theatre laboratory.The group started its activity under this title by 2008. Before 2008, the group used to work under the title of Gal Art. The group has been working on body preparation and speech methods since started and has practiced preparation methods suggested by Groto
wski, Barba, Mehyerhold, Decroux, Suzuki and others. The group attempts to develop these techniques and vernacularize them in order to give them a native identity. The group’s main concern is to work on the actor’s physical skills and speech in the theater laboratory. Therefore, the group members are willing to communicate with other theater groups working on methods mentioned above. The group members are also willing to have any sort of cooperation with other theater groups active in fields of experimental theater. Suggestions for mutual activities such as performing experimental plays and holding workshops with other groups are warmly welcomed. Garage Theater Company believes that a play, like a vehicle in an auto shop, should be diagnosed and repaired. Even though the vehicle is able to move forward, it needs care and troubleshooting. During each training period, the group members prepare exercises and workshops for developing acting methods in order to utilize different potentialities of text and contextualization.
El Garaje del Teatro es el nombre de una compañía del teatro en Irán/Qom, que investiga y estudia sobre el Teatro Laboratorio. Esta compañía ha empezado su trabajo desde el año 2008 con El Garaje del Teatro como su nombre, y antes se presentaba con nombres como “Gal Art” y “Dor-e-Shahr”. Estos nombres fueron usados por este grupo durante el año 2006. .
گروه گاراژ تیاتر ، گروه آماتور و تجربی تئاتر از شهرستان قم واقع در ایران است که در زمینه شیوه تئاتر آزمایشگاهی تحقیق و تمرین میکند.
فعالیت این گروه با این نام سال ۲۰۰۸ بر میگردد. پیش از آن با نام گروه گال آرت به فعالیت مشغول بوده است.
اعتقاد گروه گاراژ تیاتر بر این است که یک اجرا ، همچون ماشینی است که در یک گاراژ عیب یابی و تعمیر میشود. ماشین توانایی راه رفتن را داراست. اما نیاز به پیگیری و یافتن مشکل دارد.
در این اندک زمان، اعضای گروه ، بر شیوه های آماده سازی بدن و بیان توجه و دقت نظر دارند و به تمرین و توسعه شیوه های آماده سازی بازیگر اساتیدی همچون گروتوفسکی(Grotowski) ، باربا(Barba) ، مایرهولد(Mehyerhold) ، دکرو(Decroux) ، سوزوکی و ... توجه میورزند به نحوی که سعی بر توسعه و بومی سازی شیوه های تمرینی آنان دارند.
اصلی ترین توجه گروه به فعالیت آزمایشگاهی در حوزه بدن و بیان است. از این رو اعضای گروه ، مشتاق به تعامل با گروه های دیگر تئاتر که در حوزههای فوق فعالیت میکنند را داراست. همچنین اعضای گروه علاقمند به هر نوع تعامل با گروه هایی که در حوزه های تجربی تئاتر فعالیت میکنند اعم از اجرای آثار تجربی و اجرای ورکشاپ میباشد.
اعضای گروه در کل دوره تمرینات به آماده سازی تمرینات و ورکشاپ جهت توسعه شیوه بازی با متن و موقعیت مشغول هستند
