I have seen most pious people in Harram and also the most corrupt. I have seen some people dressed as religious scholars to be far from religion, on the other hand, I have seen spirtual giants camouflage themselves among common people. I have seen people push each other to be the first to reach the zaree and I also saw people saying salam from a distance so that they dont even step on someone's toe.

I have seen humble souls looking for an opportunity to clean dust of the floors of Harram and I have also seen men pretending to be employees of Harram to gain position in their circles. I saw people forgetting to sleep there and those who only eat, rest and buy tabaruk to take back home. I saw eyes that upon return stay fixed for the last glimpse of the golden dome until it disappears behind buildings and also those eyes that indulge in the forbidden while being right next to the Harram.

I feel the battle of right and wrong gets even more intense in Karbala & Najaf. Our inner demons or angels become stronger and one wins.

It is because of the generosity of that place that everyone is welcomed, everyone is accepted and given a chance and a new beginning.

May Allah protect us from our demons and make our souls take a flight.

اک مرد کا سب سے بڑا دکھ کیا ہوتا ہے؟

جوان بھائی کی موت۔
جواں بیٹے کی موت۔
چھوٹے بیٹے کی موت۔
یتیم جواں بھتیجے کی موت۔
بیٹی کی جدائی۔
بہن کو غیر محفوظ چھوڑنا۔
بیٹی کو پیاسا تڑپتا دیکھنا۔

کونسا غم بڑا ہوتا ہے؟

Imam Baqir (as) said:

“He who remembers us, or in whose presence, we are remembered, and (as a result) sheds eyes, even though they may be in the measure of the wing of a mosquito, Allah(swt) shall construct for him a house in paradise and make these tears a barrier between him and the fire (of hell)”.

“O Son of Shabib! If it makes you happy (and you desire) to be with us in the elevated ranks of paradise, then be sad at our grief and happy at our happiness.”
