MT3016 Impact Tester is a robust, easily handled bench impact tester (Charpy) made to standard specifications.

It demonstrates in a simple and reliable manner how the impact strength characteristics of a material are affected at, for example, low temperature. This is of great importance for the choice of material in applications subjected to heavy temperature fluctuations.

It is also useful when a teacher wishes to demonstrate how the impact strength of a material is affected by different kinds of heat treatments, e.g. hardening, tempering, and normalizing.

With MT3016 the student can do his laboratory exercises without difficulty.

TERCO Material Testing equipment for education covers the most important areas within Twist and Bend testing, Tensile and Hardness testing, Fatigue and Impact testing.

The equipment is of a conveniently small size which reduces costs. This makes it possible for schools and colleges to buy complete sets of equipment instead of only being able to afford one or two items. A large number of students can thus follow courses which were previously only available to a privileged few.

Here is our Electrical Machines laboratory. On the left side is a DC-Machine of 2.2 kW, used as a brake or drive machine and on the right hand side we use Synchronous Machine of 1.2 kVA as a test machine.
With this set up we can do experiments and measurements of wide range of parameters such as phase voltages, currents and pawer factor. Later we have the possibility to sample our measurements in a computer and make graphs. Or why not letting the computer do automated test for you?
