Pathway to Dermatology in the UK 🇬🇧

👉 Doctors salary in the UK 🇬🇧

There are many factors determining a doctor's salary in the UK such as role, level of education, length of service…etc

There's usually a set base salary + extra allowances under different names and circumstances

Here is the full salary list of England doctors for the year 2023 (all are PER YEAR & before taxes):

⚪️ Foundation Years 1: £32,398
⚪️ FY2: £37,303

Specialty Registar (StR) (Core Training):
⚪️ CT1 & CT 2: £43,923
⚪️ CT3: £55,329

Specialty Registrar (StR) (Run-Through Training) / Specialty Registrar (StR) (Higher-Training) / Specialist Registrar (SpR):
⚪️ ST1 & 2: £43,923
⚪️ ST3,4 & 5: £55,329
⚪️ ST 6,7 & 8: £63,152

Non-Training:

⚪️ Dalaried GPs who are employees of independent contractor practices or directly employed by primary care organisations. From 1 April 2023, the pay range for salaried GPs is £68,975 to £104,085.

⚪️ Specialty doctors earn a basic salary of £52,530 to £82,400.

⚪️ If you are a specialist grade doctor you’ll earn a basic salary of £83,945 to £92,275

⚪️ As a consultant, you’ll earn a basic salary of £93,666 to £126,281 per year, depending on the length of your service.

1. Any hours over 40 per week.
