The IT Admin Officer (Software Developer) will be mainly involved in the development of UKH management software as well as the maintenance and development of new or existing software and systems.

Medical Club, This club is dedicated to medical students so that they can learn/improve their clinical and lab skills. Basically this club contains some courses that are needed for medical students to learn in order to have the knowledge and the ability to professionally treat patients and meet the required needs in the emergency. Some of the courses include IV injection, IM injection, Suturing etc.. The courses are being taught by a well-trained staff of students. This club is mostly for pre-clinical students in order not to have any clinical skill issues when reaching clinical stage.

Vice Chancellor Welcomes New Student Union Board

Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammed Mochtar welcomed the newly elected members of the University of Kurdistan Hewler’s Student Union in a meeting on Wednesday.

The Vice Chancellor commended the previous SU committee for the numerous activities and initiatives, and the actual representation of the student community.

He also provided certain instructions and guidelines for the SU members to develop their scope of activities. He also asked them to maintain strong and responsible relations with the faculty members, admin departments and the student community.

On their part, the SU President Meer Jaff thanked the Vice Chancellor for his support to the SU and the student community in general. He also submitted to the Vice Chancellor the list of planned events and activities that will be held throughout this summer and the upcoming academic year.

Full Scholarships for Public Schools at UKH

The University of Kurdistan Hewler announces a number of full scholarships to students coming from the public schools.
The scholarships, available for all the four schools’ undergraduate programmes and totaling around twenty, is open for the new academic year 2019-2020.
“We want the University to be as inclusive as possible,” says Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohammed Mochtar. “While we try to keep the tuition fees low and affordable, we do not want any high performing student to be excluded from studying at UKH because of the tuition fees.”
These scholarships are granted to applicants through a Committee who will look into the student admission criteria. Students from the public schools are requested to request the scholarship upon application.
