التقى رئيس الأمم المتحدة والمنسق المقيم في العراق، السيد غلام محمد إسحق زي، اليوم بفخامة رئيس جمهورية العراق، السيد نزار آميدي، لتهنئته بمناسبة توليه منصب رئاسة الجمهورية، ونقل له تهاني وأطيب تمنيات الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بهذه المناسبة.

كما تناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز التعاون بين الأمم المتحدة والحكومة العراقية الجديدة دعماً لأولويات التنمية المستدامة الوطنية وتنفيذ إطار الأمم المتحدة للتعاون من أجل التنمية المستدامة .

President Nizar Amedi to congratulate him and convey UN Secretary-General best wishes on assuming office as the President of the Republic of Iraq. Discussions focused on continued cooperation between the UN and new Government of Iraq in support of national sustainable development priorities and implementation of the .

اليوم، يُعدّ علي الحمادي واحدًا من ١١ لاعبًا في فريق "صناع التغيير" التابع للمفوضية، جميعهم كانوا أطفالاً نازحين وأصبحوا اليوم في أعلى مستويات كرة القدم.
