Happy Children's Day.
India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru birthday is today. Nehru believed that children are the country's greatest resource which is why his birth anniversary is celebrated on November 14. He was fondly referred to, as 'Chacha Nehru'.

Our school is maintaining its regular schedule and activities, with additional enhancements such as weekly Physical Training classes, focusing on freehand exercises as part of daily routines. The latter months of the year are marked by numerous events, keeping students and teachers fully engaged. The children are particularly enthusiastic about their computer classes, finding them highly exciting.

As our school operates solely on donations, your generous support is crucial to its sustenance and the students' well-being. We express gratitude for all the support received and contributions made.

Saraswati Puja, 14 February 2024,
Known as the Goddess of knowledge, art, music, speech, wisdom and learning. Saraswati Puja is significant and celebrated with great piety.
Saraswati Puja was celebration in our school.
A perfect day for such a beautifully organised Puja, huge thanks goes to the teachers of the school who went out of their way to organise everything.

Today we turns 9 !!!
Today, 2nd January 2024, we have successfully started the 9th Educational Session. It was never easy but we the Saving Tiger Society always tried to give our best for the school and our students and will continue in future also.

We are really grateful to our beloved Donors for their extraordinary support throughout all these years.
We would like to express our Gratitude towards our Teaching and Non-teaching staff and members for their wonderful contribution always.

After the unexpected break due to the heatwave that hit, classes resumed once the weather improved.
We had respite from the heat with some rains.
Now it's time for the academic summer holidays.
The first semester exam are over and the school closes for summar vacation.
Children, during this season, will be running around looking for mangoes to pluck off a tree. Mango season is the most fun.
Splashing around in ponds is also a favourite pass time to keep cool.
Life in a village is simple for the kids.

The school will remain silent and steadfast till the children bring it back to life and fill the rooms with light and chatter.

This year we are facing an unusual heatwave. Temperature are extremely high with high humidity.
The chances of falling ill, getting dehydration are a constant risk.
Due to these conditions, the government issued an early closing down of all schools.
A precaution notice has been circulated by the government with guidelines on how to manage and what steps to take in this heat.
As of this week, students are home and will do classes online.

Stay safe and well. Hoping for a respite soon from this weather.

Annual Sports Day
16 February 2023
Nothing compares to the enthusiasm and eagerness of children during playtime.
When the playtime becomes an event, its even better.
Sports Day is great fun, lots of games are played, lots of races are run, lots of fun and they also get prizes.

Parents and teachers have their share of enjoyment as races are organised for them too.
It takes planning, organisation and extra efforts to pull off an event like this specially for primary children.
Huge thank you to the teachers, support staff for such a lovely event.

We are always grateful to our supporters and well wishers. Its for you that we are able to provide these opportunities to the children.

January is a month where a lot of extra curricular events happen.
This year gave us three events back to back.
It started with 23rd January which was Netaji's Birthday. This is the birth anniversary of Netaji Shubas Chandra Bose. A prominent freedom fighter for our country.
It was celebrated in our school where the children got to pay tribute to him.

26th January is Republic Day.
Its this day that the Constitution of India came into effect after gaining Independance.
Its celebrated by a flag hoisting.
Also this year, Saraswati Puja happened to be on the same day. Its a day of joy and gratitude. Students worship the Goddess Saraswati to grant them knowledge and wisdom.
The school held a puja and it was a beautiful occasion.

We thank our donors, contributors and supporters. Without you, we could not have come this far. Your support is invaluable to us.

Birthday of Swami Vivekananda
Celebrated by our school.
His teachings, philosophy still remain very much prevelant today.
By celebrating important people, events, festivals, we can impart knowledge to the children, making the learning more meaningful and impactful.

Its the winter season here, you can see all the children bundled up snug against the cold.

Wishing the children, staff and the team behind the school a successful new academic year.
Thanking our donors, supporters and well wishers for their help and continued support. Without you, it would not have been possible to come this far.
