Unnat Bharat Abhiyan – Community Outreach Initiative 🇮🇳

Students and faculty of Raghu College of Pharmacy actively participated in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan as part of our commitment to social responsibility and community development.

As part of this initiative, our team visited the community to create awareness on health, hygiene, and the role of pharmacy in improving public well-being. The activity provided students with an opportunity to interact with the public, understand real-world healthcare challenges, and contribute towards building a healthier society.

The visit was a meaningful learning experience that strengthened our dedication to service, teamwork, and nation-building. We are proud to contribute towards the vision of empowering rural communities through education and healthcare awareness.

Pool Campus Drive – A Proud Moment

The Placement and Career Guidance Cell of Raghu College of Pharmacy successfully organized a Pool Campus Drive in association with Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., Parawada on 05 May 2026.

The recruiting team interacted with our students, shared valuable insights about career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, and conducted the recruitment process in a highly engaging and professional environment.

The event began with a warm welcome to the recruiters, followed by a pre-placement talk and student interactions. This initiative provided an excellent platform for aspiring pharmacy graduates to explore career opportunities and step confidently into the corporate world.

We sincerely thank the recruitment team of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. for their time, guidance, and support. Such collaborations continue to strengthen the bridge between academia and industry.

On 23rd March 2026, the students of Raghu College of Pharmacy, accompanied by faculty member Dr. G. Gowri, visited Vimala Drugs Pvt. Limited, located at Parawada, as part of an industrial visit.

During the visit, the students were given an overview of the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control practices, and regulatory standards followed in the industry. The team at Vimala Drugs explained the workflow involved in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and highlighted the importance of safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

The visit provided valuable exposure to real-time industrial operations, helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application. The interaction with industry professionals enhanced their understanding of career opportunities and the functioning of the pharmaceutical sector.

Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative and beneficial, offering students and staff a meaningful learning experience.

The National Pharmacy Education Day was successfully celebrated on 06 March 2026 at REC Seminar Hall, Raghu College of Pharmacy under the banner “Pharma Anveshan 2026.” The event was organized with the theme “Future Pharma Ecosystem: Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice.”

The program featured an expert talk by Dr. S. Arun Sathyadev, Manager – Quality at Vimal Drugs Private Limited, who shared valuable insights on the evolving pharmaceutical ecosystem and the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and the pharmaceutical industry. He highlighted current industry expectations, regulatory perspectives, and the role of research in strengthening pharmaceutical development.

Students and faculty members actively participated in the session, gaining practical knowledge about industry standards, quality assurance practices, and regulatory compliance. The event served as an excellent platform for bridging the gap between academia and industry, inspiring students to explore research and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
