Refresher course on Company Audits

We had a full house today at our Study Circle. Members took benefit of an Intensive session on company audit and CARO.

In the first session *CA Prashant Daftary* guided us on *Practical insights on Company audits* followed by the second session of *CA Bhavin Kapadia* who took us through the intricacies of *CARO*

All appreciated the speakers who were very thorough in their subject and gave a detailed presentation in a simple and easy to understand manner.

Goldfinch Hotel management also took good care of all arrangements and food. Members greatly appreciated the ambience and hospitality of the venue.

Dear Members,

We had organised a *Study Circle Meeting* on *7th July 2024* at *Goldfinch Hotel, Silverbills Banquet, 1st Floor*, Plot No. 34/21, Central Road MIDC, near Akruti Center Point, Andheri East from *08:45 am to 01:15 pm*.

In the first session *CA Chintan Shah* guided us on *NFRA Case laws with SA Compliance* followed by the second session of *Adv Talakshi Dharod* who took us through the *Applicability of Labour laws to CAs and their clients*

Members enjoyed the enriching sessions amid the cool ambience and hospitality of Goldfinch Hotel.

In the First session *CS. Raj Kapadia* enlightened us on *Company Law - Recent Amendment - Applicable to Private Companies*

In the Second session,*CA. Pinki Kedia (Treasurer- WIRC of ICAI)* guided us on *ITR Forms for AY 2024-25 & Relevant Income Tax Amendments* followed by another session by *CA. Shivbhagwan Assawa* on the topic *Different Dimensions to CA Practice & Mastering Project Finance*

The event was well attended and appreciated by the members.

In the first session *CA Piyush Chhajed (Central Council Member)* guided us on *Section 9B & 45(4) of the IT Act-Partnership Dissolution &Distribution of Assets*

In the second session,*CA Rajesh Sanghvi* enlightened us on *Interesting Cases on Allied Laws useful in Day to Day practice*

Members participated in large numbers and took benefit of the same.

In the first session CA Vipin Batavia guided us on *Recent amendments and issues pertaining to Charitable Trusts* followed by the second session of CA Nischit Shetty who took a *Zoho Finance Workshop for Chartered Accountants*

We had a full house on 5th May 2024!
An energetic Sunday morning well spent by the members gaining insights into the investment opportunities in the UAQ, opportunities for CAs in Social Audit as well as the issues in Gst - blocked credits in ITC.
The speakers were versatile and knowledgeable and the audience was captivated!
Lucky dip prizes kept the atmosphere interesting and members enjoyed the ambience and hospitality of Hotel Kohinoor Continental.
