VIT Mathematical Association is a student chapter at VIT University, Vellore aimed at empowering students by extending their boundaries of understanding of Mathematics and related sciences. VIT Mathematical Association is a student chapter aimed at empowering students by extending their boundaries of understanding and equipping them with the knowledge and skill to appreciate the most powerful tool

in the world-Mathematics. The chapter is the derivative of the VITMAS society which was founded in 1997 as a result of the confluence of esteemed professors who envisioned a change in the way Mathematics was to be taught and understood. VITMAS enjoys the active involvement of a large number of faculties within the university and this cooperation between students and teachers in redefining education acts as the backbone of the chapter.
