ཕྱི་ལོ༢༠༢༥ ཟླ་བ༠༤ ཚེས་༡༥ ཉིན་སློབ་གཉེར་བའི་བདེ་དོན་ལྷན་ཚོགས་སྐབས་༥༤ དང་དཔེ་ཀློག་ཚོགས་པ་གཉིས་ཟུང་འབྲེལ་གྱིས་མཧཱ་པཎྜི་ཏ་༸སྐྱབས་རྗེ་མཁས་དབང་སློབ་དཔོན་ཟམ་གདོང་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་སྐུའི་མཛད་རྣམ་དང་འབྲེལ་སློབ་ཕྲུག་ནང་ཁུལ་གཏམ་བཤད་ཀྱི་མཛད་རིམ་རྣམས་ལེགས་པར་གྲུབ་ཟིན་པའི་སྣང་བརྙན།

On April 15th, the 54th Students’ Welfare Association (SWA), in collaboration with Books & Beyond, organized a one-day seminar at Sambhot Bhawan on students’ presentations based on Liisa Cay Pasila’s biography of H.E. Ven. Samdhong Rinpoche.
The event aimed to improve language skills and public speaking, especially for Madhyamika students. Eight students delivered PowerPoint presentations on topics such as his early life, philosophical ideas, and professional contributions. Teachers were also invited, creating a platform for mentorship and interaction between junior and senior students.

March 7, 2026 — The three-day "Senior Students' Workshop," organized by the Student Welfare Association, concluded successfully today.
Highlights of Day Three
The final day featured insightful presentations by distinguished scholar Redo Sangay, Dr. Ngawang Kunkhen, and Dr. Nyima Tsering. Their lectures were met with great success.
Student Activities: The workshop included interactive sessions, including an internal student debate competition and various discussion forums, effectively rounding out the three-day curriculum.
Closing Ceremony
The event concluded with a formal closing ceremony attended by several prominent figures:
Guided remarks and speeches were delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of CIHTS, Students' Dean Geshe Lharampa Tenzin Norbu, and Tibetan linguistic scholar Redo Sangay.

March 6, 2026 — The 53rd Students’ Welfare Association of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS), Sarnath, organized a three-day Senior Students’ Workshop for 68 participants.
Tibetan Linguistic scholar, Ven Redo Sangay, Geshe Lharampa Thabkhe, and the distinguished scholar Prof. Kushendra Mishra shared their valuable opinions and experiences to guide and inspire the students.
The academic workshop is being conducted from March 5 to March 7, 2026, featuring twelve academic topics presented by ten scholars from both within the institute and aboard institutions. The program also includes a quiz competition and other academic activities designed to encourage active participation and learning among students.

We students of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS), Sarnath, had the privilege of attending and representing our institute at the International Dhammachakkha Puja from January 15-21, 2026. This historic event brought Buddhist practitioners from across the world to the sacred site where Lord Buddha first turned the Wheel of Dharma.
Monks, scholars, and devotees from Tibet, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and many other nations gathered for prayers and teachings.
This unforgettable experience at such a sacred place has deeply inspired our commitment to Buddhist studies and practice as future scholars of the Dharma.
