History repeats itself. Yes, this saying was proven in NCI 26th of June, 2020 on the occasion of Sir Mr. Ashok Kumar Pandey and his better half Mrs. Mamta Pandey's 30th marriage anniversary. I started with a saying....why? This may be a question. Actually, Friday's small but most memorable ceremony brought me in flash back. I journied just 27 years old memory. Every moment was cliked due to Friday's fiction. Undoubtedly credit goes to Prity Dwivedi, Piyush Ram Shukla, Sharad Shukla and above all Dr. Shivshakti Prasad Dwivedi.
I joined NCI on 07th of February, 1994. Class consisted of many students like Madhu Belani, Rekha Tiwari, Neelambari Keshri, ND Tiwari, Neelkanth Tiwari ( Today's Minister for State), Alok Srivastava, Ramchandra Nayak, Ajai Singh, Imran Hashim. HN Kushwaha, SW Haque, Sunil Singh, Satish Srivastava, Neelam Srivastava, Punam Srivastava, Manju Srivastava, Neeraj Srivastava, Virendra Kumar Srivastava'VK' and many more.
Madhu Belani got Sir's marriage date... somewhere... somehow. She shared this information with me one day after the class. She continued saying that there should have been something special on Sir's marriage anniversary. What could be-that was my curiosity. 'Party', she replied. I saw Nayak. He was positive. Said, 'why not?' I asked a question, 'how'? 'we all would manage, said Belani. She put condition of secrecy. She ment to say that function must be surprised. We all agreed. We started preperation. Sir was unaware of anything...It was 26th of June, 1994. We all gathered for spoken english morning class from 7.00 to 8.30 am but mood was something else. Sir was upstairs. We decorated hall ie class room. Closed the door. It was sharp 7.00 am. Sir was very regular and punctual in the class. He pushed the door and got surprised. Some flowers fell down on him. Every student stood, clapped and welcomed Sir. Meanwhile, Madam was also brought in the function. I anchored the function confidently. Everyone performed... Neelkanth Tiwari sang a song on my request.
In the same way, I reached NCI on 26th of June, 2020 (Friday) at 1.20 pm. Suddenly, Dr. Shivshakti Prasad Dwivedi and Dr. PRS met me. They recalled me about Sir-Madam's marriage anniversary celebration. I was abit doubtful... how could be? I got same answer by Dr. PRS, Prity, and Sharad which in 1994 by Madhu Belani and Ramchandra Nayak...We celebrate the function with full current. I enjoyed Piyush-Sharad and Prity's home made cake with Mrs. Neelima Devi, Mrs. Upasana Tripathi, Jaya Tripathi and Prakhar Pandey.
