🇮🇳 Celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day 🇮🇳

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s V. M. Public School, Vadodara proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm, dignity and patriotic spirit.

The celebration brought together our students, parents, staff members and well-wishers in a vibrant atmosphere filled with pride for our nation. The disciplined presence of our NCC cadets, enthusiastic participation of students and the spirit of togetherness made the occasion truly memorable.

As we celebrate 79 glorious years of India’s freedom and step into the 80th Independence Day, we remember with gratitude the countless sacrifices that gave us the freedom we cherish today.

May the Tricolour continue to inspire our young generation to uphold the values of unity, integrity, responsibility and service to the nation, and to contribute towards building a stronger and brighter India.

Tiranga Clay Activity | Grade I 🎨

On the occasion of Independence Day, Grade I students enthusiastically participated in a creative Tiranga Clay Activity.

The students shaped clay using the three colours of the Indian flag—saffron, white, and green—and created the Ashoka Chakra in the centre.

The activity helped develop patriotism, creativity, and fine motor skills among the students. All the students participated with great joy and enthusiasm. 🇮🇳✨

Our Class 9 students recently participated in an incredibly inspiring and informative Kaushal Vikas Activity focused on Secondary Income Generation through Animal Husbandry! 🐄🐓🐝🐟
The classroom was buzzing with energy as our young learners explored how animal-based occupations can provide sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthen rural economies. Through engaging discussions and brilliant presentations, the students dove deep into the world of practical skill development.
What Our Students Explored:
🔹 Diverse Livelihoods: Understanding the economic potential of dairy farming, poultry farming, beekeeping, and fisheries.
🔹 Scientific Animal Management: Learning the importance of modern, scientific techniques in raising livestock and managing resources.
🔹 Value-Added Products & Entrepreneurship: Discovering how innovation and value addition can boost family incomes and spark entrepreneurial mindsets.

Young Sharks in the Making! Class 9-12 Business Pitches! 💼
On August 8, 2026, our school hosted an electrifying Inter-House Shark Tank Competition, organized by Ms. Nidhi Saxena!
Students from Classes 9 to 12 stepped into the tank to pitch brilliant, innovative business plans to our judges. They confidently defended their products, pricing, and marketing strategies!
Big wins from the day:

🔹 Boosted teamwork and leadership skills.

💧 Water Absorption Test | Class III – EVS 🌱🔬

As part of their EVS learning, our Class III students enthusiastically participated in a Water Absorption Test, exploring the water-holding capacity of different types of soil.

Using sandy, clayey, and loamy soil, students conducted a simple hands-on experiment to observe how differently each type of soil absorbs and holds water. They carefully observed the flow of water and compared their findings.

This engaging activity helped students understand the properties of different soils, while developing their observation and analytical skills and connecting classroom learning with real-life experiences.

Our Grade II learners had great fun participating in the “Sorting Food Groups” Activity, where they sorted different foods into three groups.

Through this hands-on activity, students learned which foods give us energy, help us grow strong, and keep us healthy and protect us from illness. The activity helped them understand the importance of a balanced diet in a fun and engaging way.

Our Class IV students participated in an engaging Measuring Length Activity, where they explored different ways of measuring the length and breadth of their classroom.

👕 Clothes Relay Race | Std. I 🌦️🏃‍♀️

Our Std. I students enthusiastically participated in a fun-filled Clothes Relay Race as part of the EVS chapter “Clothes and Seasons.”

The children identified different fabrics, explained the seasons in which they are used, and carefully hung the clothes on a rope during the relay. The activity made learning enjoyable while enhancing their understanding of fabrics, seasons, teamwork, and quick thinking.

It was a wonderful blend of fun, movement, and hands-on learning! 🌟👕✨

🏆 A Moment of Pride for Bhavan’s! 🇮🇳

We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of our students at the Young Indian Parliament Competition, held over the past two days.

Shlok Mehta, Ritiksha Jha, and Pavni Sardana brought laurels to the school by winning awards for their remarkable performances.

Adding to this proud achievement, these three winners, along with Tanya, Akshara, and Vedanshi, have been selected for the Regional Rounds to be held in Ahmedabad.
