Laal ankhiyan aka Red eyes can be due to Conjunctivitis (among other causes)
Conjunctivitis can be infective or non infective which are not treatable without complications if advise is taken on time.

🌟 Pterygium derived from a Greek word meaning "Wing" is a common eye problem seen in our eyes.

✨ Photo 1- A patient having mass growth in his right eye for 1 year (Pterygium)
✨ Photo 2- A poll conducted where most of you answered the condition correctly 🥰💪
✨ Photo 3- Same patient in operation theatre after removal of the mass
✨ Photo 4- A graft harvested from the same eye of the patient to cover the defect (left after pterygium removal).
✨ Photo 5- Placing the graft in correct position and securing it with glue.
✨ Photo 6- End result on operating table. 😀👍
✨ Photo 7- Immediate results after surgery (same day after 10 minutes).
✨ Photo 8- Info in Hindi.

🌟 In this condition the white area (conjunctiva) starts growing over the black area (cornea).

🌟 People with high sunlight exposure (UV light), dry climate and limbal abnormalities (inherent eye conditions) are more prone to develop pterygium.

🌟Problems associated with this condition are:
- Decreased vision
- Irritation and pricking sensation
- Redness and watering of eyes
- In extreme severe cases can cause permanent corneal scar and loss of vision (if it permanently covers the black area ie the cornea).
