On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar humble tributes to the humanitarian and Bharat Ratna who gifted India one of the finest constitutions in the world.

The Industrial Visit organized by VIKAS COLLEGE OF ARTS, SCIENCE & COMMERCE for the academic year 2025–2026 was conducted at Parle-G, Ambernath Factory. Students of B.Sc. I.T. and C.S actively participated in the visit, gaining valuable insights into the manufacturing processes and operations of a renowned industry. The visit provided practical exposure, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and enhancing their technical and professional skills.

The Department of Political science and Economics organized an educational visit to the Vidhan Bhavan (State Legislature), Mumbai, to attend the Budget Session. A total of 38 students and 2 Staff participated in this academic visit.

The main objective of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the legislative process and enhance their understanding of how the state government functions, especially during the Budget Session. It was a valuable learning experience where students observed the proceedings and gained real-time knowledge about governance and policy-making.

Report on National Science Day Celebration

National Science Day was celebrated at Vikas College of Arts, Science & Commerce on 28 February 2026 at 3:00 PM. The programme was organized by the Science Association to highlight the importance of scientific thinking and to encourage students to explore the contributions of women in scientific fields.

The main activity of the programme was Power Point presentations by students on the theme “Women in Science: Catalyzing Viksit Bharat.” Students from various science streams actively participated and presented on the achievements, challenges, and inspiring journeys of women scientists who have significantly contributed to scientific research and innovation. The presentations highlighted how women's participation in science and technology plays a crucial role in building a developed and progressive India.

The programme aimed to promote scientific awareness, enhance students’ presentation skills, and inspire young minds to pursue careers in science and research.
