Building Sustainable Livelihoods Through Knowledge and Innovation.

The final day of our Special Camp featured an enriching session on Bee Keeping and Diversified Income Generation, led by Mr. Ramyik Pheiray, Program Manager, Volunteers for Village Development (VVD), an alumnus of Delhi University with an MBA and PGDM.

The session inspired our volunteers to explore sustainable livelihood opportunities, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance through practical, community-based initiatives. It reinforced the idea that small, innovative ventures can create lasting economic and social impact.

Day 5| NSS 7-Day Special Camp – Cultural Day 🎭🎶

Keeping our roots alive, one story and one song at a time. We were privileged to have L. Chamdhar, Chairman of the Ngashan Pahrimi Society, lead an engaging practical session on traditional folk songs and the rich folklore of our community. As melodies echoed and stories unfolded, volunteers discovered that culture is not merely inherited—it is learned, lived, and passed on.

NSS Special Camp 2026 | Day 3

"Knowledge grows when experience is shared, and service begins with awareness."

Day 3 of the NSS Special Camp was marked by two enriching sessions led by distinguished resource persons.

Dr. Thotreichon Juliana, DSO, District Health Society, enlightened the volunteers on the importance of health, hygiene, and community well-being, inspiring them to become ambassadors of a healthier society.

Ms. Thotchuiphi L., FCI Manager, Divisional Office, Visakhapatnam, shared her professional journey and valuable insights on leadership, perseverance, and career opportunities, motivating the volunteers to dream bigger and serve with purpose.

Another day of learning, inspiration, and empowerment—shaping responsible citizens committed to the spirit of "Not Me, But You." 🇮🇳💙
