Envisioned in 2012, Mahamaya Foundation is at the forefront in providing free-cost education to children hailing from the lowest economic strata through mass education programs using the latest technologies available in the era today. We genuinely understand the crucial role played by education in a child’s life as it is the foundation for a good future. Our belief of "an educated society is a healthy society" is showing fruits through the hard work and results of our students and scholars.
Mahamaya Foundation has also started off with the Mahamaya Scholar program that ensures the best and brightest are encouraged and rewarded for their hard work, skills, and determination. Till date more than 500 students are presented as part of this program.Over the years, we have become a household name in the coastal areas of Karnataka, India.
The genesis story of the foundation dates back to the days when a couple with five children, opted to provide basic education to their children as against sending the children to work to overcome temporary financial hardships. The lady of the house realized the unworthiness of short-term remedy and ensured to educate her kids. The children, three of whom hold doctorate degrees, founded the Mahamaya Foundation.
