Udaipur, 27 October 2023: An educational trip to Van Anusandhan Farm located at Sisarma, Udaipur was organized by Venkateshwar Institute of Pharmacy (VIP), Sai Tirupati University (STU). This trip was conducted under the supervision of the Prof. Dr. Khemchand Gupta, Principal, VIP, with the purpose of promoting awareness of medicinal and herbal plants among the pharmacy students. The importance of medicinal plants holds true in today's real life as it brings us close to nature and solely depends on its natural powers to cure us and keep us healthy without any side effects. Medicinal and herbal plants like Jyotishmati/ Malkangani, Vasa, Gurmar, Chirmi etc. have their own medicinal uses and it was beautifully demonstrated by the expert in this field, Mr. Lalit Paliwal. This trip enabled more than 120 participants to gain valuable knowledge while discussing with the expert. It also includes all teaching and non-teaching staff members.
