As India holds the Presidency of the G20, the Govt. Of India is celebrating the G20 summit by conducting different activities/ events all over the country..This is in accordance with the Ministry of Education , Govt. Of India's directives and guidelines HP College of Education organised Slogan Writing and Poetry Recitation Competition in college Auditorium.. Internal Quality Assurance Cell of HP college of education Totu Shimla organised one day national webinar on the theme"Mental health of learners with special reference to managing examination induced stress" in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF )Himachal pradesh chapter. The reasons behind choosing the theme for webinar were- firstly this was under the enlisted activities by NCTE to celebrate Aajadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Secondly this was the need of the hour as our future teachers have to deal with generations in their lives. Doctor Pargat Singh Garcha (Principal GHG college ludhiana) and Doctor Nidhi Sharma (Assistant professor department of psychiatry IGMC Shimla )were the speakers of the day .They gave their expert opinions and suggestions about the educational as well as medical aspect of the area.

Role play on the concept of vedic education ..An innovative practice implemented under Internal Quality Assurance Cell HPCE to acquaint the students with in depth knowledge of education system in VEDIC PERIOD.
In vedic period the aim of education was to make people fit for society,to train them,to educate them not for material life but to develop their personality and character. Social interactions were limited to families and friends but vedas believed in universal brotherhood and community welfare.
