The 15th of August, a day etched in the golden annals of history, was celebrated with grandeur and patriotic ardour at MNP Public School. The occasion was graced by distinguished dignitaries — Mr. Mathur Ji, Mr. Vishal Puri Ji, Mr. Eshank Bansal Ji, Mr. Ghanshyam Ji, and Mr. Ram Murti Meena Ji and Mr Mahesh sharma Manager whose esteemed presence elevated the solemnity of the day. Our revered Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Sharma, warmly welcomed the dignitaries and addressed the gathering with words of inspiration, setting the tone for the day’s celebrations.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, a moment of pride that filled every heart with reverence as the tricolour soared high, symbolising the sacrifices and dreams of countless freedom fighters. The National Anthem resounded in unison, evoking the spirit of unity and patriotism.
The cultural programme unfolded under the central theme Tablet to Tablet – From the Golden Age to the Digital Era.This thought-provoking theme reflected India’s remarkable journey from being the “Sone Ki Chidiya” to emerging as a global digital leader. Through soulful dances, students portrayed India’s cultural richness, resilience, and progressive stride into modern technology. A stirring recital of the poem Main Bharat Ka Jawan Hoon reverberated with the valour and unwavering dedication of our soldiers, while a powerful skit on Rani Lakshmi Bai brought alive the spirit of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.
Amidst the patriotic fervour, the atmosphere was further enriched by the joyous celebration of Janmashtami. The tiny tots, dressed adorably as little Krishnas and Radhas, enchanted the audience with their innocence and devotional zeal, reminding everyone of the deep spiritual and cultural roots of our nation.
The seamless blend of Independence Day and Janmashtami festivities created a unique ambience one that echoed patriotism, devotion, and cultural pride. The guidance of our Principal, the gracious presence of the dignitaries, and the enthusiastic participation of students together made the day a memorable chapter in the school’s journey, inspiring all to cherish the past while embracing the future with renewed vigour.
