The Rotaract Club of KMC College of Law was formally inaugurated on 19th December 2025 in the august presence of Rtn. AKS. B. Dhanasekaran, District Governor; Rtn. AKS. D. Amutha Priya, First Lady; Rtn. PP. T. Selvavignesh, District Rotaract Representative; and Rtn. Dr. S. Rajalakshmi, District Rotaract Chair. The Literary Cell of KMC College of Law extended a warm welcome to the first-year LL.B. students by organising an interactive orientation programme on 13th December 2025. The session introduced the Cell to the freshers through engaging literature-based games such as a treasure hunt, connections, and a quiz. The event was led by the student members under the guidance of the faculty convenors, successfully fostering early enthusiasm and interest among the newcomers in the Literary Cell’s activities.

The 76th Constitution Day was celebrated at KMC College of Law on 15th November 2025 in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Justice N. Satish Kumar, Judge, Madras High Court, who delivered the constitutional address. The Hon’ble Judge was accompanied by his wife, Adv. Radha. The programme was followed by cultural performances presented by both faculty members and students.

KMC College of Law commemorated the 76th Constitution Day on 15th November 2025 by organising a 5 km rally from Tirupur Kumaran Memorial to the Tirupur Old Bus Stand. The rally was flagged off by Hon’ble Justice Satish Kumar N, Judge, Madras High Court. During the rally, students carried placards highlighting Fundamental Rights, thereby creating legal awareness among the general public.

KMC College of Law organised a quiz competition on the theme of the Constitution of India on 13th November 2025, in furtherance of the 76th Constitution Day celebrations. The competition witnessed the participation of 15 teams.

The winners of the competition were Aaryan Vikram Krishna and Arunkumar A of I B.A., LL.B., who secured the First Prize; Darshini V and Karshini of I B.A., LL.B., who secured the Second Prize; and Dhanbal V and Balagurusamy S of I LL.B., who secured the Third Prize.

The prizes were distributed by Hon’ble Justice Satish Kumar N, Judge, Madras High Court, during the celebration of the 76th Constitution Day held on 15th November 2025.

KMC College of Law organised a rally and cultural events on 15th November 2025 to commemorate the 76th Constitution Day. The 5 km rally was ceremonially flagged off by the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Justice Satish Kumar N, Judge, Madras High Court at Tirupur Kumaran Statue and culminated at the Tirupur Old Bus Stand. The students carried pluck cards with constitutional rights and chanted slogans creating awareness.

Following the rally, the celebrations continued on campus, where the Hon’ble Judge delivered a Constitutional Address. The event concluded with vibrant cultural performances by the students and faculty members.

KMC College of Law successfully organised a Debate Competition on a Constitutional Law theme as part of the Constitution Day commemorations. The competition, held on 12th November 2025, saw enthusiastic participation from students of First Year B.A., LL.B. and First Year LL.B.

Bhavesh Prasanna S.G of B.A., LL.B. secured the First Prize, Karshini P of B.A., LL.B. secured the Second Prize, Darshini V of B.A., LL.B. and Gokul S of LL.B. both secured the Third Prize.

The winners were honoured with certificates and awards by Justice Thiru Satish Kumar, Hon’ble Judge, Madras High Court, during the Constitution Day celebrations held on 15th November 2025.

On 27th September 2025, the winners in the 1st KMC National Moot Court Competition were awarded with trophies and cash prizes by the distinguished guests - Hon’ble Justice Bharatha Chakravarthy, Judge, Madras High Court; Hon’ble Justice M. Jaichandren, Former Judge, Madras High Court; and Hon’ble Justice R. Vijaya Kumar, Judge, Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court.

the team comprising Cyndia B. K., Bavana Anandan, and Sriram G. from Saveetha School of Law, Chennai emerged as the winners and were awarded a cash prize of ₹15,000 along with a trophy.

The Runner-up position was secured by Asian Law College, Noida, represented by Nitya Pandey, Nandini Sharma, and Mohd. Mehndi, who received a cash prize of ₹10,000 and a trophy.

The Best Memorial Award was conferred upon Vaikunta Baliga College of Law, Udupi, whose team members Kartikeya Manjunath Naik, Sugandhi Kamath, and Raksh*ta received a trophy and a cash prize of ₹5,000.

The Best Speaker Award was bagged by Ms. Deetchanya K. from the School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai, who received a trophy and a cash prize of ₹5,000.

The Best Researcher Award was presented to Ms. Arya from the Kerala Law Academy, who was honoured with a trophy and a cash prize of ₹5,000.

The Final Round of the 1st KMC National Moot Court Competition 2025 was held on 27th September 2025, featuring a compelling contest between Saveetha School of Law, Chennai and Asian Law College, Uttar Pradesh.

The round was adjudicated by an eminent bench comprising Hon’ble Justice Bharatha Chakravarthy, Judge, Madras High Court; Hon’ble Justice M. Jaichandren, Former Judge, Madras High Court; and Hon’ble Justice R. Vijaya Kumar, Judge, Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court.
