🌸✨ REPORT ON JANMASHTAMI & TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION ✨🌸
OPS International School celebrated Janmashtami and Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm, devotion, and joy. 🎉🙏 The celebration beautifully blended the spirit of Lord Krishna’s birth with heartfelt gratitude towards teachers. 💐📚
The programme began with special speeches highlighting the significance of Janmashtami and the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds. 🎤✨ Students presented a melodious Janmashtami and Teachers' Day Song that filled the atmosphere with devotion and festive cheer. 🦚🎶
The Kindergarten students added charm to the celebration with a delightful Janamashtami dance performance. 🥰💃 Their innocent smiles and energetic moves won everyone’s hearts. Students of Classes VI–VIII also presented a vibrant dance performance dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha.💃🕺🌟
Adding a creative touch to the festivities, students of Classes III–V enthusiastically participated in a Matki Decoration Activity. 🪷🏺🎨 The colourful and beautifully decorated matkis showcased their creativity, imagination, and festive spirit.

🚦 REPORT ON ROAD SAFETY QUIZ COMPETITION 2026–27 🚦

OPS International School conducted the Road Safety Quiz Competition 2026–27 on 31st August 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with the aim of creating awareness among students about road safety rules, traffic regulations, and responsible road behaviour.

The competition was organized in compliance with the directions of the Additional Director General of Police (Traffic & Highways), Haryana and the Superintendent of Police, Karnal.

Students participated enthusiastically in the quiz, which was conducted at three levels:

🔹 Level I: Classes III–V
🔹 Level II: Classes VI–VIII
🔹 Level III: Classes IX–XII

The quiz tested students’ knowledge of traffic signs, road safety rules, pedestrian safety, traffic regulations, and responsible citizenship. The activity provided an engaging platform for students to enhance their awareness and understand the importance of following traffic rules.

The school management appreciated the sincere efforts of the students and teachers in making the event successful. The competition served as a meaningful initiative towards nurturing responsible, alert, and safety-conscious citizens.

REPORT ON RAKSHA BANDHAN ACTIVITIES

OPS International School celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and joy. 🌸🎉🪢 The activities were organized to help students understand the significance of this beautiful festival and showcase their creativity. 🕉️✨

Students of Classes I to V enthusiastically participated in a Rakhi Making Activity. 🪢🎨 They created colourful and beautiful rakhis using different decorative materials and displayed their creativity and artistic skills. 💖🌈✨

Students of Classes VI to VIII participated in a Thali Decoration Activity. 🪔🌺🍽️ They beautifully decorated their thalis with great imagination and creativity. 🌸✨🕉️

REPORT ON INTER-HOUSE HARYANA GK QUIZ

Classes: VI to VIII

An Inter-House Haryana GK Quiz Competition was organized in the school premises with great enthusiasm and zeal to enhance the general awareness of the students about their own state—Haryana. 🌟

The competition was held for the students of Classes VI to VIII. All the four houses—Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald House—participated with full preparation, confidence and team spirit.

The quiz comprised various interesting and innovative rounds:

- Haryana Darshan – General Facts and Geography
- Khel Ke Sher – Sports Round
- Virsa-e-Haryana – Culture and Heritage Round
- Bullet Express – Rapid Fire Round

The students answered the questions with great confidence and showcased their knowledge about the rich culture, glorious history, famous personalities, sports and heritage of Haryana. The Rapid Fire Round was especially thrilling and kept everyone on the edge of their seats. 🏆✨

Director of Academics, Ms. Esha Bansal appreciated and encouraged the students for their enthusiastic participation, confidence and excellent performance. Their motivating words inspired the students to learn more about the history, culture and achievements of their state. 🌸

After a tough and exciting competition, the results were declared as follows:

Knowledge of Economics & Political Science – Class X

The students of Class X enthusiastically participated in an engaging learning activity on “Knowledge of Economics & Political Science.” The activity aimed to help students understand the importance of both subjects in building an informed, responsible and progressive society. 📚🌍

Through attractive charts, illustrations and meaningful information, students explored key economic concepts such as scarcity, choice, opportunity cost, supply and demand, production, distribution and consumption. They also highlighted how economics helps individuals and governments make smart choices with limited resources. 📊💰

The Political Science section focused on important areas including government and constitution, democracy and rights, justice and equality, public policies, international relations, citizenship and participation. Students learned that political awareness helps citizens understand their rights and responsibilities and contribute towards a just society. ⚖️🗳️

The activity beautifully conveyed the message that Economics gives us the resources to live, while Political Science gives us the power to live with justice. Together, they help in building a better world. ✨🌎
