English is considered as a Global language with a universal acceptance in this modern era. In today's world, all vital communications are made in english and besides all, the Internet language, all higher educational books, prime world renowned scifi movies, most of the research papers etc etc are made in English. Efficient English communication has become a major hurdle for the professionally qualified aspirants for the corporate jobs and their career front, especially, a major part of the candidates from Kerala. Its a commonly seen scenario in the corporate sector, which was experienced by me during my 25 years' tenure, primarily being a member in the top management team of a big corporate group. Many a times, I witnessed having been commented by the Educational Consultants that inspite of having a remarkable educational background, the young generation of kerala faces a bottle-neck over their professional front, atleast for few initial years of their job, be it in India or abroad due to the lack of efficient English communication skills. Above all, English has been considered as the official corporate language of the technologically driven globalised world and thus, it is imperative to learn.

If we talk about the engineering stream in particular, every year almost 5 lakhs students are being graduated throughout India in which 50% are ambitious to work abroad. Studies show that 65% of the employers are not satisfied with the communication skills of the students from Kerala compared to other states of India, which hinders the career growth at par with others. According to the professional experts, a good employee is assessed with his/her communication, presentability and inter-personal skills than their technological capabilities. A good command over one such worldly common language is the backbone of all the above.
