VSC begins the Year 2019 edition of "Bring A Smile" , a programme to extend a helping hand to under-privileged students, 15 May 2019 onwards..
Last year VSC could serve around 1500 students.
We request your support and help in conducting the event this year.
This year more than 1500 students and 20+ institutions await our helping hand.
Let us move ahead together to Bring Smiles to our little Brothers and Sisters...

Vivekananda Study Circle - Technopark volunteers had their seventh distribution program on 02nd June at SMSS Mahila Mandiram, Poojapura, one of the oldest homes in Kerala for destitute and orphan Girls. Study aids were distributed to 65 girl child living here. VSC president Sri. Gireesh Chandran, Secretary Sri.Rejeesh.S and Infosys Group Project manager Sri. Vinu Bhargavan led the study aid distribution. SMSS Mahila Mandiram Secretary Smt. Sreekumari addressed the VSC volunteers and President Smt. Radhalakshmy Padmarajan expressed vote of thanks. Sri. Rejeesh rendered the message to the kids. Later VSC volunteers had a walk through the SMSS facilities and offered further support for them.

2018, the project to lend a helping aid to students with study aids has so far supported 1141 kids with educational aids.

Vivekananda Study Circle's (VSC) Volunteers distributed study aids to boys living at AnanthaSai Balaasadanam Orphanage at the Fort,Thiruvananthapuram. Study Aids for 35 boys residing here were handed over to the administrators on Sunday, 03rd June, 2018. Administration team expressed their gratitude to VSC and volunteers.

Vivekananda Study Circle - Technopark (VSC) members had their sixth distribution drive at Karyavattom Kariavattom The underprivileged kids of the locality was nominated by karyavattom Auto driver’s charity forum named “Auto Brothers Drivers Charitable Sangam”.

#26 kids of locality were distributed full study aids during this drive. Auto driver’s forum Vice president Sri. Heby presided the function. Carnival Cinemas Manager Sri Lakshman , Sri. Shibin, along with VSC president Sri. Gireesh Chandran, lead the distribution drive of study aids to kids. VSC executive member Sri. Vishnu Somanath rendered the message to kids and Sri Sunil of auto brother’s charitable sangam gave vote of thanks.

2018 the project to lend a helping aid to students with study aids has so far supported #1041 kids with educational aids. We are attempting our best to offer help to the greatest number of as we can. We plan to complete all distributions by 1st week of June; 2018.

The next distribution drive will happen on June 2nd (saturday), at 11.30 a.m. at SMSS Mahila Mandiram, Poojapura, the destitute home for Girls. Study aids to support 65 girl child shall be distributed here.

Fifth study aid distribution was held at Technopark neighborhood, Govt Relief LPS Kulathur, Arashumoodu. Full study aid kit was distributed to 62 students on roll of this school. The function was presided by the corporation ward councilor Sunichandran Chandran. Honorable Deputy Mayor of Trivandrum Adv.Rakhi Ravikumar was the chief guest and inaugurated the distribution drive here. Corporation Councilor Sri.HariSankar also took part in the function. School Head teacher Smt. Latha gave the welcome speech and School managing committee member Sri. Mohankumar rendered the vote of thanks .VSC Secretary Sri. Rejeesh.S conveyed the support a kid for education, project message.

2018 had their fourth study aid distribution drive GLPS Korani ,Mangalapuram. School has 115 students on rolls, mainly from the neighboring underprivileged families. Vivekananda Study Circle (VSC) treasurer Sri.Rajesh K.S and VSC volunteers handed over the study aid kit to Head teacher Smt. Soubhagyavathi at School premises. These kits will be distributed to students on school re opening day at the students welcome function (Preveshana Ulsavam). Head teacher expressed their appreciation and gratitude to VSC team for supporting their school kids for education.

3rd Distribution drive of 2018 at Panathura Coastal area was carried today, 19,May 2018.

158 students from this coastal area were provided with study aids and books.Another 625 students whom belongs to poor financial background were also given study aids through representative of school management of 6 schools of nearby locality. On behalf of kids, the management team of those schools accepted the books and kit at this venue.

Today we were able to on 783 aspiring kids.

We thank all goodhearts who made this possible.!

We are trying to meet all the request so far we have received and plan to complete distribution to 350+ kids (including 3 schools and an orhpanage ) before start of new academic year.

School aid distribution at Pothode Agastyar Bala Sadanam,Kottoor was lead by Carnival Cinemas Sports Hub Trivandrum - Greenfield operations Manager Sri.Lekshman along with other volunteers.

This school is 15 kms inside kottoor forest Tribal settlement area .This school has claases from KG to 4th standard for the kids from nearby Tribal settlement colony.

19 volunteers visited this school with permission of forest officials. school management appreciated the kind gesture of Vivekananda study circle volunteers in supporting the education of tribal kids.Earlier in 2016 VSC had built two toilets for this school.
