Mar Ivanios College has been a Programme Study Centre of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) under the IGNOU Regional Centre, Trivandrum since 2000 and elevated to the status of a full-fledged Study Centre in 2009, offering more than 200 programmes. Currently, it has over 10,000 students enrolled, with more than 100 teachers providing counselling classes through online and face-to-face modes. Mar Ivanios College (Autonomous) is the largest full-fledged Study Centre under the Regional Centre, Trivandrum, providing all academic support and infrastructural facilities required for counselling classes for both theory and practical sessions. Mar Ivanios College is also the largest Examination Centre for IGNOU Term End Examination. Mr. Alexander Jacob is the Coordinator of the IGNOU Study Centre at Mar Ivanios College (Autonomous).
