Toonz Animation Academy Toonz Academy (www.toonzacademy.com) is the training division of the award winning animation studio, Toonz Animation India Pvt. Ltd. (www.toonz.co).

One of the top Animation Academy in India & a leading institute for VFX, Gaming, AI & XR, and the First Unity Authorized Training Center in Kerala for Unity Game Development Course & Certification. The academy was established in the year 2002 and is a fully owned subsidiary of Toonz Entertainment Pte Ltd, Singapore, the parent company of the Toonz Group. The first centre of the academy was establi

shed in Trivandrum near the Technopark campus during the year 2003. Plans are in fast swing to establish centers elsewhere in major cities across India. The academy offers 12 months Advanced Diploma course in animation. The Academy also offers a portfolio of short-term courses in animation and visual effects. Continuing its fast pace of growth, the Academy has signed MOU's with leading Chinese Universities to set up animation training centers in China and plans to expand its operation to West Africa, Middle East and South East Asia.

We were delighted to collaborate with IFA, Abu Dhabi, for an engaging Animation & VFX Masterclass held on 8th & 9th August 2026.

The two-day masterclass brought together aspiring filmmakers, animators and VFX enthusiasts for an immersive experience exploring the art and craft of animation, visual effects, 3D production and storytelling. The sessions were handled by Vinod A S Head VP-Training ,Karthik V Kumar, Director Finance & Operations & Bharat De VFX Supervisor & Toonz Alumni .

Through insightful sessions, hands-on learning and interactions with industry professionals, participants gained a closer look at the creative and technical processes behind animation and VFX production. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm, curiosity and passion of the next generation of creative talent in Abu Dhabi. A big thank you to the Innovative Film Academy team, our mentors and all the participants for making the masterclass such a memorable experience.
